GlaDOS: "Ah, ah, yousaiddeath."

Hugh Mann: "I MEANT CAKE!"

Zand: "Cake of course."

A series of servos pop out of hidden panels and gun down Zand.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer or more deserving NPC....

Gendo and Edwards are meeting in secret, plotting the overthrow of UEEF Command and Tokyo 3. Suddenly a squad of Halo Spartans, lead by Nova and KAS-DA blow through a wall.

Nova: "I'm sorry, for the good of humanity, I can't allow your plan to go forward."

Nova empties an automatic pistol into Edwards' gut. He drops with a stunned look on his face. In a fluid motion, she tosses the gun to Gendo.

Nova: "You're too well connected for us to risk a trial, so here is how it will go down."

Nova: "You came to this meeting with your co-conspirator but he decided to double cross you. You shot him, but not before he snapped your neck."

Gendo: "YOU WOULDN'T DARE DIRTY YOUR HANDS WITH BLOOD! You haven't got it in you, Police Woman!"

Nova: "Not my hands."

The last thing Gendo feels is KAS-DA's hands on his throat.

Nova: "Actually, you're going to do it yourself."
Gendo: "What the hell are you talking about?"
Nova: "Merely this....."(whips out a scroll and reads it aloud in an unknown tongue)
Gendo: "Wha---ack! urk! ungh!"(Gendo's own hands fly to his neck and throttle him)

Nova: (watching as the scroll decays instantly to ashes) "Nasty, but effective. All the same, I'm glad these things are nearly impossible to make,"

Remember one comic sequence where Black Widow tries to seduce him, then reveals herself to be a Skrull infiltrator. He just looks at her and goes "So? We still going to have sex or not?". Needless to say, the Skrull spy is just mind-blown.

Setsuna-1, not so bad, because she's rather given up on the whole Crystal Tokyo thing, has acknowledged that she's crazy and done some bad things over the centuries, rather likes it where she is, sorta wants to keep an eye on her avatar-sisters, frankly likes the drugs, and has a rather torrid/kinky love affair going on with a Ranma-chan avatar.


The OTHERS, however, are still rather attached to the idea of Crystal Tokyo and the whole 'Guardian of Time' thing with all the chicanery and superiority-complex that entails(one of them REALLY didn't like the whole 'downgrade Pluto to a minor planetoid' thing and tried to edit the astronomical conference and its members out of the time stream), so any temporal deviations that affect their respective time/world lines is going cause them pain(and immediate action from the ward pharmeucists).

Ironically, the Setsuna from the Silver Tyranny has been shielded from such backlash because the (re)establishment of Crystal Tokyo fulfilled her charge....it just turned into a despotic regime afterwards, to the point where she tried(and failed) to negate its recreation. Now she's trying to use the UEsG to cut short the Silver Tyranny and Queen Serenity the #####.


Of course, the Hotaru doing all this stuff is from Setsuna-1's universe, but there might be a chain-reaction; the OTHER Sailor Scouts could be wrecking havoc with their respective worldlines, which would have similar effect*

*Though, as it stands(and as I remember, been awhile):

*Setsuna-1----Universe adjacent to Evangelion-1. Pretty much off the Crystal Tokyo express lane. It's most likely the Hotaru currently blowing #### up is from this one; she's on weekend break from her EMT/First Responder training/work

*Setsuna-2---Comes from an Evangelion/Sailor Moon fusion universe where Third Impact might be the catastrophe preceding the Great Freeze and the re-emergence of Crystal Tokyo. She made her presence known by trying the kill alien elements(i.e., an Invid Simulagent going to the same school as the Pilots). It's presumed the rest of the Sailor Scouts are in some sort of suspended animation hidden away someplace waiting out Third Impact and the Great Freeze(both of which seem to be on indefinite hold since the UEsG started mucking around there) as no sign of them has been found yet.

*Setsuna-3---Tried to murder the 2006 Astronomical Conference. Her own Scouts turned on her and turned her over, bound and gagged, to the UEsG scouts, so it's presumed that they found out what ELSE she was up to and have now left the Crystal Tokyo schedule.

Provided anybody believes Corg's insanity defense and doesn't send him straight the Hague to face war crimes, he'd likely go to a serious criminal incarceration unit for the (malciiously) criminally insane.
Might even get Gendo as a roommate, or more likely some lesser criminal.
