Those powers were being suppressed by the medication, now that the medication is gone, the only thing left suppressing those powers is our own psyche.
As kids, we shouldn't have much trouble overcoming our own psyche - any random stigma (the stupider the better) should be enough to get the powers working as long as the character itself is convinced it
should work. Try eating some dirt or doing the karate kid pose or something, as long as your character is certain his powers will function after eating a clump of dirt, it could happen.

Camp is a generic term. Shelter. Anything. And why? Because you're cold and without it you'll die. Plus, most of you have the wilderness survival skill (even if it is at a small percentage), so most of you know the BASIC protocols for surviving in the wild even if you're not very good at it.
Duanne98015 wrote:and the lemurians live in ocean cities dont they, how would they set up camps underwater? at best i would look for cover like a over hanging rock or something
Duanne, you have been priding yourself on role-playing a child well. Which I kudos. However,
one its a fantasy game. In fantasy games children do fantastic things all the time. More to the point,
do you think you're the only child adventure that has had a tough trek of it? Last week, the biggest challenge you guys had was word play, a lynx, and a common frog. This is supposed to be a fun experience that helps define your characters into the people they will become--through YOUR role-playing--not events I have engineered. I have some engineered events, one of which is the manifestation of these
abilities. None of them are to kill you (but they may), all of them are tests of character.
However, back on the topic of good role-playing of children, in the last week the kids have walked hundreds of miles. Whenever thing I know/remember about being a child says that is
not how they'd typically react to the situation.
Duanne98015 wrote:and how did jack rider beat that Splynn City killer? (i wasnt in that game, hell i dont even know what a Splynn City killer is)
He was a giant city killing, ley line gobbling, Kaiju with stats comparable to the Midgard Wyrm. He was defeated by Alfonse, Jack Ryder and Overkill (Andrew's Head Hunter).
Duanne98015 wrote:The questions already been answered "why did the dragons bring us here?" simple "to torture us to amuse its child" because if it wanted us to prove ourselves worthy or something it might have given us some guidance like maybe a simple line like "prove yourselves worthy" or something but they didnt do that no instead they possibly killed our families infront of us (by destroying the subs or whatever they did) and threw us on a island with no food no water no nothing, basically to me a person that is simply a diabolical act to do to 8 year old children, even if they are suppose to be awesome in the future, i apologize to troys character but if **** isnt explained just right my guy might start hunting the monstrous dragon race that decides to torture children on a whim and i may have to change my class to find some dragon slaying one, If we survive this.
This is good and bad. See, here your character has a motivation to grow up into a Serpent Hunter and whereas you thought he might mature into a Rogue Scholar, clearly if he has such a strong hatred for dragon and their ilk, than maybe he'll become a Serpent Hunter (the Serpent Hunter O.C.C. is in Rifts: Lemuria if you want to check it out). However, you are making all of these really poorly reasoned out conclusions. I'm only going to say this once, because I am tired of it coming up as a complaint. I do not engineer situations in my game that cannot be overcome and resolved by heroic or daring action. Ever. The problem is, that a lot of the situations I put my players in
can only be resolved by heroic or daring action. This means, that bashing your head against the wall or trying to pummel other people into your way of thinking
typically isn't the solution. Both Zac and Troy excel under these conditions so I do not understand why no one else does. Instead, each week I have people telling me "there is nothing I can do" or moaning and complaining. I'm not just talking about you here Duanne.
The fact is, its not my job to play your characters and if you are not having fun than do not play. It's a kin to complaining that you're lost in a dungeon. I'm not going to give anyone the map or the key to the treasure chest just because they're upset that its too hard. These are the experiences that make you good players. More to the point, you remember the crap that Carlo used to put us through as G.M. Duanne, so you should know that "being stuck on an island" is nothing. Walker (before you were playing -- back while Troy and I were in highschool still), got stuck on an island for... what was it Troy (do you recall the exact time?), but something like six months of real life time with us having between 1 and 3 games per week, with some lasting for days at the time. Plus, there were bigger threats than needing to find food or the occasional stray Lynx. There were erupting volcano, a cabal of hostile several 30th level wizards, cannibals, doppelgangers (half the adventure I wasn't even playing my own character I would later find out!), and that wasn't even half of it.
Duanne98015 wrote:i'm not being negative just blunt. I honestly don't see anything we can do, I've thought about it besides trying to talk to "Shifter" and selling the children off to him for freedom, finding the dragons again which i'm pretty sure 90% of the people dont want to do cause they are horrifying and killed our families, sell Teddy to black peter, talking to the dolphins or something similar (which looks the most promising but i bet they wont help unless it amuses them)
There is a lot you can do man. Nothing easy will magically fix the situation. That's part of being an adventurer. Some of your problems you'll be able to power over. Such as when you guys throttled the raiding party. However, that isn't going to be the solution to everything all the time.
Duanne98015 wrote:The only other thing i can think of is exploring the rest of the island, but we cant do that cause we will get lost Extremely easily and we cant draw a map cause if anyone even had the skill it would be at like 10%, plus i have yet to see even 1 ounce of civilization or ruins for hints from there so no books, riddles, or anything like that to test or trick to get off the hell hole of a island.
Think in character, just because you as a player know that you only have a 10% chance doesn't mean that your characters know. Sure, you might not be able to do perfect cartography but anyone (even a child) can draw a crude map. Yet, no one has even tried.
Duanne98015 wrote:Our best chance of surviving this is probably finding a Ley line nexus or something similar and hope to hell a portal opens that we can jump through, but for that someone needs to make a roll and succeed to even know that =.=
Do you

Not everything has been thrown back in your face. Also, for the record... the Dolphins WARNED you, they didn't tell you that you COULDN'T.
At the end of the day, you guys need to survive and make the best of the situation until you can figure out what to do from here.

That isn't his real limitation, or at least his most important limitation.
Gobi proved that Black Peter can fall victim to his own curses. Black Peter is a being powerful enough to wander that island and do his thing with impunity, the only real threat to him on the island are the threats which he creates himself via his curses. Black Peter has to consciously limit himself or run the risk of giving someone the power to defeat him.

Gobi's Recollection of the last game:
1. After having already agreed to head to the waterfall in the last session, the kids set out with that in mind.
2. Predictably, with their supernaturally short attention spans, the kids begin to re-evaluate their heading after only a few short seconds.
3. After the kids decide they now want to find shelter, Gobi manages to refocus them by tricking them into continuing their heading by telling them that it is possible and perhaps even likely for there to be a cave behind the waterfall that they could use (Their original destination).
4. They arrive at the waterfall and as if the gods themselves wished to reinforce Gobi's awesomeness, his assessment of the cave potential was proved to be correct.
5. The group venture into the cave in order to determine its safety.
6. The cave would have probably seemed a scary enough place but Gobi was too distracted by Suri's inability to restrain herself any longer. She spent the entire time groping him in the dark. Gobi wasn't fooled by the darkness being an excuse, knowing quite well that both he and she could see easily but he let it slide due to also knowing that her making such advances on him was inevitable. She can only fight nature for so long.
7. After suffering Suri's gropes for what seemed like an eternity, Gobi finally found a short-lived moment of peace - the paranoid Lemurian Wannabe started screaming about imaginary spiders.
8. Rather than deal with the kid's whining, Gobi chose to savour the moment, happy to be finally free of the groping.
9. Now realizing that leaving the kids unsupervised for even that single moment was a mistake, Gobi watched in Horror as the kids did everything in their power to make things go wrong. As a consequence, Suri was now gone - sucked into some kind of vortex, centered in Michael's shirt.
10. That horror was soon replaced with a sense of utmost frustration as he watched the kids fruitlessly attempt to bring her back. Sometimes the stupidity of others can cause great mental pain to those of superior intellect.
11. Gobi easily remedied that issue with one simple sentence: "Turn the shirt inside out" upon finally responding to his instruction, Suri was returned. Although she returned with three clones.
12. Realizing the thought of being groped by four Suris was obviously far worse than one, Gobi gave the newcomers a rather stern look. Rather than **** off one with such a powerful mind any further, the Suri clones melted away into nothingness, obviously terrified of his aura of awesomeness.
13. Due to the others being afraid of the cave and a little intimidated by Gobi's ability to surpass any obstacle, they left the cave the same way they arrived.
14. The Dragon led them back to the beach where a new residence (a giant sand castle) awaited. While Gobi was busy doing whatever it took to keep the kids alive, the Dragon had obviously spent that time playing in the sand.
15. As if completely oblivious to their own needs, the kids started settling in as if they planned on making this holiday excursion a long-term thing. Being of a superior mind and afraid the kids would become comfortable enough they would want to remain on the island much like the bad kids had, Gobi made them see reason. He told them that they couldn't settle in and had thing more important to tend to. Inspired by his message, the kids rallied to his cause - his memory tainted by loosing himself to the admiration, Gobi isn't entirely sure if this is true or not but he is pretty sure Robert may have been actively worshiping Gobi during his speech.
16. Realizing the kids have been working hard and for the most part, following instructions well, Gobi offered them a day to relax and rest before making the trek to go see Cygnus and gain his assistance.
17. After enjoying the promised day of relaxation, the kids depart the sand castle in order to seek out Cygnus.
18. About 8 seconds after their departure, the kids admitted that they had lied and had no idea how to find Cygnus.
19. The deception left Gobi admittedly a little frustrated for if he had known none of them could lead him to Cygnus and would have to find him by his own means; He would have left days ago, leaving the weaker, less-awesome kids behind.
20. Inspired by the challenge, Gobi's composure returned as he realized his awesome was at a level where nothing - not even his unethical associates, could deter him from the true and proper path.
21. As per their usual needy selves, the kids started complaining about being hungry and thirsty. Robert even went as far as stealing an egg of the most vicious, blood-thirsty creatures Gobi had ever seen.
22. Realizing Robert's mistake and courageous enough to brave the towering monstrosities that sought the return of their egg, Gobi took the egg and returned it to them. The eleventy-billion foot tall beasts no longer wanted the egg and chose to destroy it themselves but chose to leave without further incident anyway - they were obviously aware that they were no match for Gobi and desperately wanted to avoid any conflict with him.
23. Understanding that stupid kids get even stupider when hungry, Gobi took charge of the situation. He ordered Suri to fetch food and the Dragon to fetch water. Meekly, they both obeyed. Upon the Dragon's return, Gobi nodded in approval, secretly happy that he could now add the title: "Master of Dragons" to his application to the Sentinel Academy when he is older.
23a. Watched the Small Weak looking Alabak transform into a giant monstrosity called Fishface, luckily even such a monstrosity was no match for Gobi's wits and he was able to master the beast, preventing him from harming anyone and even successfully ordering him to spare one of the bad kids that was caught throwing rocks at them.
24. Continuing their journey, the kids arrive at the bad kid's stronghold, having made good time. Gobi acknowledging that his awesome is apparently at a level where he can both meet the needs of the kids as well as lead them to their goals, all in a timely manner.

I'd rate that game a solid 5/5.
It started off a little sketchy with the technical issues but after about 4 sessions Gobi finally managed to make the other kids go back to see Cygnus. That fact alone is enough to cap out the score.

Hey Guys,
I was up all night working and watching AMSR videos for a friend before she uploads them to her youtube channel (don't you judge me!) and since everyone is going to be late or not in attendance I am like 90% sure I am going to cancel tonight's game, or at the very least REALLY, REALLY, REALLY delay it until after I've woken up. That said, I think its BEST that we run the next game when everyone is present because you are in a very volatile and important part of the game.
However, if you guys are still on skype when I crawl out of bed and there is enough of you, I might still run it but I doubt it. I've been thinking about it all night and its just too important to the story right now to progress without the fully party there. Especially since you guys are already outnumbered three to one and there are so many wild cards still up in the air.

Gobi's Recollection of the last game:
1. With his abundant charisma, negotiating they way into the enemy stronghold proved to be an easy task for Gobi. With only a few, but powerful words Gobi secured their entrance easily.
2. Surprisingly, a couple of the kids were brave enough to join him in entering the encampment. Unsurprisingly, more than a few stayed outside, shaking in their boots. Gobi mentally notes the different groups, offering respect to those deserving.
3. In a feat of pure awesomeness, Gobi single-handedly calmed the beast and had the enemy leader Cygnus, eating out of the palm of his hand.
4. Charmed by Gobi's magnetic personality, Cygnus agrees to do everything he demands. He agrees to resurrect Gobi's fallen friends and assist their escape from the island prison. Smiling internally, Gobi realized at that moment that he had successfully saved all those kids single-handedly. Much like his title "Master of Dragons", that too will look handsome on his application to Sentinel Academy.
5. His final victory was short-lived. Although his plan was perfect and appeared to be a great success, it had been crushed by an X-factor that he had not accounted for. His stupid, cowardly friends had ruined his plans by forcing him to wait all this time before enacting his plan. It turned out that his fallen friends could no longer be resurrected, that was only an option within the first 24 hours.
6. A little dismayed by the news, the rest of the conversation became a blur. Gobi's attention was sent inward, with the realization that no amount of plans, schemes or limitless awesomeness was going to bring them back now.
7. Gobi's attention had been recalled back to the moment by an extremely pissed off Cygnus. Without Gobi's constant attention, somehow the other kids had managed to **** him off. In a babysitting job with these kind of stakes, even the smallest amount of inattention is enough to put everyone in danger, as he had now experienced.
8. In an attempt to avoid something as uncouth as a physical confrontation with someone that was willing to help them in every way possible, in his own home; Gobi offered his apologies and rushed the aggressive kids out the door.
9. As they were leaving, Rob's boundless rage overcame him and in a temper-tantrum to rival the gods, he turned and threw his spear at Cygnus. Horrified at the thought of what may have just happened, Gobi turned to see the spear had only hit Cygnus's throne. With a sigh of relief, Gobi continued rushing the kids out the door, impressed that Cygnus was capable of enough restraint to not make an issue of his broken chair. If only Gobi's friends could show that degree of self-control.
10. The trip back to their camp was quite uneventful. Gobi did witness Suri playing with some Gorillas and the children mounting an innocent deer but he gave it little thought. His attention was still spent on the realization that his friends weren't coming back.
11. Upon their arrival, Gobi wordlessly but still awesomely snuck off to bed and the solitude he needed to sort through his thoughts.
12. With the arrival of the morning, and time enough to regain his composure, Gobi was ready to re-take charge with a new plan, this time with enough leeway to account for the shortcomings of his friends. The new plan was simple: Cygnus may want nothing more than to play his silly war games, but the other kids didn't. All they had to do was make sure the other kids wouldn't have fun at all playing this game, so they would stop. Cygnus couldn't play this game without his pawns.
13. Before he could fully divulge his genius plans, Gobi was ambushed from an expected assailant. The baby Dragon: Caldor-Kai, had finally thrown his tantrum and launched an attack. Knowing that a temper tantrum from a baby was inevitable and that one from a supernaturally strong creature would be deadly, Gobi had already taken measures to ensure that he alone would be the victim of the attack.
14. Impressed by his own awesomeness, Gobi was not martyrd as he had expected and had survived the beast's mighty tantrum. Realizing that he held a greater degree of awesome than even he realized, Gobi saw his opportunity to save the kids from the beast once and for all. Putting himself in the line of fire to highlight the threat may have been beyond the call of duty already but removing the threat entirely would be an act of even greater kindness.
15. Throwing a flurry of logic that only a mind as impressive as his own could understand, Gobi stumped the Dragon, stopping his attack with an incomparable degree of precision and awesome. Having been paralyzed by Gobi's superior mind, the Dragon quickly admitted his defeat and seemingly enacted seppuku - honorably atomizing himself with his honor only being countered by one last malicious act: destroying the group's home.
16. As awesome as ever, the horror of watching his friends be enveloped by their home didn't slow down Gobi's progress at all. With the sole intent of saving his friends from the Dragon's final act of evil, he charged toward the former castle without hesitation.
17. Gobi's heroic deeds found their one and only counter: Betrayal. Before he could check on his endangered friends, he was again ambushed and this time, not from an expected source. The kid Robert, one of the two kids that Gobi truly felt worthy of respect, had been driven mad by his endeavors on the island and had now tackled Gobi, relentlessly punching him for unknown reasons.
18. Feeling the sting of betrayal, worsened by the fact it was sourced from one that Gobi held in the highest of regard, Gobi agreed to leave. Saddened by both the realization that his dead friends could not be resurrected and that one he respected would betray him so easily, Gobi's resolve finally wavered. It was time to stop babysitting the kids and let them experience how hard the world is for themselves.
19. Without hesitation, Gobi trekked across the island in search of Cygnus's camp. Although Cygnus called him an enemy, he had shown compassion enough to forgive being attacked in his own home and while calling Gobi an enemy; Cygnus's friends had attacked Gobi far less often than those which had called him friend. The choice seemed easy.

I was talking about how many people launched actual attacks at Gobi specifically, not how many times the group as a whole have been attacked.
Gobi has been attacked by Caldor-Kai, Robert Castell, Suri and Eli.

It's not a terrible deal. But I was hoping to escape in a way that allowed everyone else to escape as well. Oh well, hopefully the rest of you escape sooner than later.

Why do some players have no common sense =p
At least Robert looked kick ass enslaving a fey to be his minion for 30yrs if it lives that long and saving pretty much the whole group from their mind rape
I left about 8 am here, are you guys any closer to escape from the island?

Yeah we figured out that we have a Highlander motif going on.
There can only be one.
We managed to finish off Suri already, now we must take out the others until there is one final survivor.

Dagon: Will be staying on Wormwood for his training. During his 5 years, he will regularly practice the Communication Rift ability to communicate with his family and his friends from the island. The emotional hardening from staying on Wormwood has dropped his alignment (temporarily, most likely) from Scrupulous to Unprincipled. Ultimately he decided to finish training before going back to Earth due to getting fewer looks of abject horror from random passers by. In a place where everyone is a little horrible looking having a shark head doesn't make him the ugliest person on the block. Plus, how many Earth born Shifters get to start their training off dimension?
While there, Dagon managed to learn to read Dragonese, remain unseen (learned Prowl), ride Exotic Animals instead of horses and learned to prepare and tan leather.
Petrin: After returning to Mu with his brand new outlook on life he abandoned his attempt to master his innate psionic powers in favor of learning the art of Biomancy. He joined the Acceptors and now tends a tranquil garden in Mu under the watchful eye of family and friends. (I'll finish re-doing this character later this week and send it to Liam to use as an NPC).

As 13 year olds, use your complete adult stats with these adjustments:
All of your attributes are 2/3 what you would have as an adult, all of your skills suffer a 10% penalty and you require 1200 more xp to level up than an adult.

Feeling sorry for his friends, Gobi spent the first few months back in society trying his best to keep Suri and Michael's lives as carefree as possible. As he became more acquainted with Suri, he soon realized that she was not the
monster his senses declared her to be. This made her persecution all the more frustrating. It soon became apparent that one Lemurian was not enough to keep his friends from feeling the sting of alienation. Gobi tried in vain to recruit
more sympathizers to Suri's cause by introducing both her and Michael to his other island friends: Eli and the Sarahs, whom he had recently reconnected with in order to claim the meal he was promised, offer gratitude as appropriate and
express his genuine affection. It did not go well. After a few months almost entirely dedicated in his attempt (and failure) at keeping their lives as pleasant as possible, he gave up and dedicated his time to things of more importance:
his fear of Black Peter's retribution.
Believing any form of defense is impossible without complete knowledge of what he is up against, Gobi dedicated his free time to researching the three and the Old Ones that he believed them to be. Regardless of his dedication, his study
did not last long. Gobi met an unexpected roadblock in his research by being accosted by the Lemurian authorities who found his research to be very alarming and even going as far as accusing him of being corrupted into Demon worship by
Suri.
For the first time in his life, Gobi felt betrayed by his country. Not only did they find perfect justification in persecuting an innocent young girl, but they seemingly found it quite reasonable to deny a scared young man the right to
seek the knowledge he needed to stave off his own demise. Rather than let the imperfections of Lemuria challenge his patriotism, Gobi found a better solution - he would take it upon himself to eliminate those imperfections and restore
Lemuria to the flawless state that it had previously been. Knowing that a humble Sentinel could never incite change, Gobi made the hardest choice of his young life: he chose to forgo his dream of flying through the air at supersonic
speeds for a more influential course of action. He was going to study hard in the hopes of becoming a politician, so he could make the grandest nation on the planet, that tiny bit grander.
Gobi's studies continued to dominate his days until his first yearly check up, when opportunity presented itself. Noticing Cygnus among the kids waiting to get serviced by the Doctor, gobi came upon a realization: If any child had
cause to share Gobi's paranoia of Black Peter, it would be Cygnus who managed to **** him off to an equal extent. That was a realization that proved fruitful. After a short exchange, the pair agreed to asist each other in their research,
sharing resources and information pertaining to the three and the Old Ones; Bonding through mutual paranoia.
Gobi's new alliance was all-consuming. He barely even noticed the departure of Suri and Michael, their absense made even easier by Gobi now having the means to remain in constant contact. His means being via Cygnus and his ability to
open a communication Rift. That was a power Gobi exploited to great extent - he actively made keeping in contact with the children from the island a high priority. Some kids he felt genuine affection for and enjoyed their conversation,
others he conversed with purely for the reason of wanting to be informed should anything unnatural and which could be contributed to the three would occur in their lives.
Gobi's tireless efforts in his studies, his research (via Cygnus) into the Old Ones and his interest in the lives of the island kids, continued for the entirety of his years and show no signs of halting.

The following is a message that Gobi has passed on to all of you (Except for Alabac) at some point during your time back in civilization:
Alabac is undergoing psychiatric treatment to help him recover from his experience on the island. He said that it is of vital importance that you never mention anything about what happened on the island in front of Alabac.

Gobi is buying both Tyson and Rob a suit of Bio-Skin Armor each. They are both of the Gill Suit variety, one has 26 MDC and the other 29.
Whichever of you responds here first will be given the one with the higher MDC value.
Game Announcement Update (13/04/2013)

by Akashic Soldier
Attention!
I also need game ratings for the following games ASAP please!
Session 007: Exile, Gobi's Quest – Gobi joins the east-side kids (Cygnus and gang).
Session 008: The Left and Right Fight – The group tries to establish themselves without Caldor Kai and Dagan is teleported to Wormwood.
Session 009: The Inner Sanctum – Last week's game session.
Session #10: Trouble In Tritonia!
Rifts Earth
Byron Blue, Tritonia
May 10th, 107 P.A.
In ancient China, the solar eclipses were regarded as heavenly signs that foretell the future of the Emperor, but in Lemuria and Tritonia they are considered periods of great unrest. Times of great dread where magic is at its zenith and great and terrible rifts appear, swallowing up any who are careless or unfortunate enough to draw too near. This is significant, because families are hiding away in their home and Tritonia is on full lock down as the stars align.
It has been five years since the traumatic events of Hrrac Island, and much has changed for the Children of Iméra. The location is Byron Blue; a Tritonian mega-corporation run by gluttonous funnyman Hugo Byron. The dilemma, a kidnapping; a disappearance, not of magic or mysticism, nor motivated by greed, but for science. Will those abducted be able to escape from their incarceration and escape the automated defenses, or are our heroes doomed to being some fat comedians lab specimens?

1.5/5
The game is titled "Path of One", this thread is evidence enough that Gobi is the "one" it is referring to and there wasn't enough face-time for Gobi in that game.
Akashic Soldier wrote:Session 008: The Left and Right Fight – The group tries to establish themselves without Caldor Kai and Dagan is teleported to Wormwood.
5/5
Gobi returns like a hero and saves the day. How could anyone not appreciate that?
Akashic Soldier wrote:Session 009: The Inner Sanctum – Last week's game session.
4/5
I enjoyed the game but I couldn't consider it perfect because Gobi missed his last opportunity to taunt Black Peter before leaving. Rapey was standing in the way.
Session #10: Question for Bonus Experience Points

The Lemurian Music Box Song (as per request). It is also the clue to this week's bonus experience. The question is, what did this mean, and what significance did it have to the story/plot and why would've the three given it to you?
This one is going to require some serious Batmanning I think. So I will award 500 experience to anyone who guesses correctly. Plus an extra 100 experience points for anyone who is Batman enough to translate it and help the others decipher it.
Note: Remember, everyone only gets THREE guesses. If you guess three times and you are wrong, you are
out.

Here is the English translation:
aimo aimo nedel rushe
Now toll the bells of victory,
for this place is my new planet.
aimo aimo nedel rushe
Now wave our flags above our heads,
for this place is the new land of God.
Go forward, to the Frontier,
while embracing your proud name.
Fly away, to the Frontier,
and awaken your dormant power.
aimo aimo nedel rushe
Go forward with lightning in your hand.
Build our homeland right in this place.
Oh you the chosen people, blaze together with the meteors.
We shall cleave the darkness and obtain eternal glory.
aimo aimo nedel rushe
Now wave our flags above our heads,
for this place is the new land of God.
From that, it pretty much sounds like they wanted us to leave, as us leaving lets them claim new places in their domain. The line about our dormant power makes it seem like they require our powers to do so, which could be why the Doctors insist on suppressing it from us.

Yeah, turns out I translated the wrong song...
This is the real translation (Or what people consider to be a translation at least - most of it still doesn't resemble English).
aimo aimo
neder rushe
noina miria
ender prodea
fotomi
We are in a warm ocean.
lulei luleia
The dancing larks in the sky are waves. (1)
lulei luleia
You are a young and gentle child.
aimo aimo
neder rushe
noina miria
ender prodea
fotomi
We are in a warm ocean. (2)
The great, great affection that sleeps in my chest,
It is slowly waking up from the warmth of your hand.
We are in a warm ocean.
aimo aimo neder rushe
Long ago, everyone in the world was one.
Come on and step into this warm universe.
The other song seemed more relevant
Heh. ^_^
