Something I noticed in the weekly email is that there aren't a lot of Rifts games being run at Detroit Fanfare. There are quite a few Palladium Fantasy games though. This makes me think maybe there is a much higher demand for Palladium Fantasy than some may think.

So by looking at these facts maybe we should rethink doing some Fantasy titles sooner rather than later. ;)

PFRPG sourcebooks! Let's make that acronym mean Palladium Fantasy (and not PathFinder).

Also, release the Tombs of Gersidi and Arms of Nagash-Tor updated to 2nd edition as a PDF bundle. That would be pure winsauce.

EXACTLY! PF has pretty much come to mean Pathfinder in RPG circles outside of Palladium. New releases of Palladium Fantasy are needed to retake the abbreviation!

Mind if I ask you about Dark Elf's book, Zyan?

I was a big fan of his writing on cannibal magic and I'd like to know more about "Champions", even a vague outline would be nice?

I really hope they do something...anything for Palladium this year. Even if it is a 30th Anniversary pencil. Or a shirt. If not they better do 3 Palladium Fantasy books next year to make up for it.

Not a big Fantasy player, but anything that gets the ball rolling on further Mysteries of Magic editions (isnt is supposed to be like a whole series?) is a good thing in my ledger.

I cannot say much, as it is his book, and it is a current submission in Palladium's hands- and I really want to see it released.
I will say 3 things that should not upset anything.
1- I have read it many times. It reads like the early books that Kevin wrote- Old Ones, Seas, etc. To me, that is a good thing!
2- One of the hook, line, sinkers is the adventure published in Rifter #59, "The Lion, the Ditch & the Warlock". So, if you liked that, you will like the book.
3- I have run a trial with one player, having him try to qualify for the Games in 2 of the Magic events. It was an absolute blast! He came close to dying, some of the other competitors barely escaped with their lives, one died, and he qualified! So, more testing over the next month (my whole group is about to try and qualify for the Games) and I will give my impressions.

For details, you will have to beg, ask, torture the author!

The Lopanic Games does sound great. Large events like that are perfect settings for campaigns, even if the players aren't competing, as there's so many potential plot hooks just on the periphery; not to mention as great setting material to add richness to the rest of the game world - can well imagine an inn keeper in the Eastern Territories proudly displaying his LOPAN '84 souvenir collection over the bar, or even a medal won in his youth. Just that thought alone gets the mind ticking over with adventure possibilities.

Although I think I'd prefer to see Old Kingdoms book(s) before anything else, a short book of adventures would be pretty cool, too. I'd just like to see something released so that we have something new to buy for Palladium Fantasy. That way we can show Palladium we're still out here, and then maybe we can finally get the other long awaited books. :-D

Not to compare Palladium with another P company that uses the same abbreviation for their fantasy title BUT they put out so much stuff for their IP. It really saddens me that Palladium doesn't do this.

Every month a module, campaign/adventure, and player handbook seem to come out. They also release setting books constantly.

There is no reason Palladium can't do this. They have a good product and a simpler game. I want to personally take on the task of making Palladium Fantasy a game to be talked about at all game stores world wide. M.A.'s let's get this game line going strong again!!!

When people begin buying a lot of Palladium Fantasy books again they will be forced to hire more staff and begin releasing material for this game line once again!!! Convince fellow nerds in your areas to buy buy buy!!!

Seems that this is having a decent effect if freelancers are picking up on the request. Eventually Kevin may catch wind of this and maybe it will motivate him to actually focus on Palladium Fantasy.

Why can't Kevin just delegate editorial responsibilities for the fantasy line so that he's not the bottleneck?

Or has this been discussed at length elsewhere already?

I'd like the blackness to be retreating revealing more of the world. I'd like more continents but they need to finish what they have first. Maybe in the final Land of the Damned the secret to ridding the blackness can be in that book. So if GMs want their players to save the world as they know it they can do this. When the blackness retreats though there is so much outside of it that we can have MORE BOOKS!!!

Land of the South Winds
Lopanic Games
Book of Magic Series
Old Kingdom part 1
Old Kingdom part 2
Yin Sloth 2.0
Island at the Edge of the World 2.0
Land of the Damned 3

There is so much that can be done with this game line. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GIVE IT A LOT MORE ATTENTION AND SOON!!!
