Indeed. That story really lingered for too long, and it looks like some details were omitted. Maybe Kolya's been body-snatched.
Anyway.

Yea, my favourite is getting them before their hands can shield their eyes.
Otherwise they look I shot them three times...
Surefire flashlights are my favourite, in game and in real life.

I like those flashlights that flick on and off repeatedly - don't let their eyes adjust.

Looks she was inspired; she scrapped two stories that I know of. Settled on the night encounter story.
Finally did something with an old friend of Ron's and Kolya's; or least that's my bet. Will the villain get away
again?

I started this story shortly after the Roger story aaaaall the way back 2005.
Earlier this year Shang and I kicked around some ideas but Shang ended up dead.
I thought I would bring it back for a bit and then let it percolate for a couple more years or something...

I spent the other day recalling some of the stories over the years... and some Private Messages that I sent in 2005 that never been read and so I just erased them, which I kind of regret.
But today, no, I have a few compilations that are taking longer than usual to complete.
But I'll probably be reflecting again, looking for some of the smaller and more obscure stuff such as
http://lazlosociety.org/viewtopic.php?p=954#954. I miss the debunkers; not sure I could pull it off.

No..but I'll be he could use some black magic to attach someone else's hand to his arm. maybe a dead body part or something.
My friend is actually writing similar story for LazloSociety forums right now. A sort of flesh golem Frankenstein's monster creature to haunt the country side looking for something obscure called Life Water from Russian folklore. She might change her mind though and give it a different quest, but it looks like it might get busted up before it begins.

ash_wednesday wrote:That's a bit different then from my idea. i was thinking that once the hand was attached, it gets an evil mind of it own. Starts to cause minor trouble to the players, like poking girls in the no-no places without him noticeing it until he gets slapped. After a while, the hand grows more powerful and starts to take over the character's body and starts to kill people.
Ah. That's cool. I'd use it as a villain.
You know, the Scarlet Hunter is probably my favourite creature from the BtS book. When I read your post that thing popped into my head. I know it's not the same and I'm not sure why I even mentioned it hehe. Such slow taking over things are really cool; probably that's why I did.

He's also called Nacarant in First Edition.
It's red slime that envelops victims wholly feeding on their P.P.E. It's also a very powerful magic user which makes it a hell of a lot more dangerous.
