"Yes, she fled the country, after she escaped from the Control Corps. Discontinue pursuit?"
"She cannot be allowed to escape after what she did to the balance and our country. Chaos and uncertainty rule the countryside and economy now! We will be years rebuilding what she upset! The Committee and the General were fools to trust her! Where did she flee to?"

Yeah, I'd picked up a copy of volume 1. of 'Kabuki' at a recent library booksale, and found it interesting.
For those of you not familiar with it, it's kinda obscure, a black and white indie comic, set in an alternate universe post WW2 Japan(like Jin-Roh) that has descended into an uneasy state of affairs between a secret ruling military junta and the criminal elements powering the economy. A secret organization of masked operatives, known as Noh, use specially trained assassins to cull anybody who threatens to upset the applecart and destabilize society. THe title character is a young woman , granddaughter of the elderly general in charge of the Noh organization, and a half-ainu product of violent rape. The violence in the series tends to be short, but graphic, and most of the story is surreal flashbacks or delusions on the part of the main character, who was trained to be one of Noh's super-assassins(all of the special agents are young women, with scanty themed costumes and masks), after her father(and the main antagonist) tried kill her, but instead left her disfigured(with the kanji for 'kabuki' cut into her right cheek), trying to come to terms with both her violent past, her profession, the traditional societies and mythologies of Japan, and the machinations of those around her. It's self-discovery, with an early revenge theme, followed by a fight for life.
Though set in post WW2 Japan(the youngish main antagonist served as a guerilla, killing American soldiers, and then later on becomes something of an Elvis fan), it could easily be moved into a more advanced Robotech timeline, with the Global Civil War filling in for WW2, and Japanese democracy tanking after the Rain of Death.

Intresting, I guess sticking the loony ninja girl in the Ice Guard or the Deep Ones would not be all that bad.

I mean what can the harm be if the 3rd gen, fremen like Ice Guards get some ninja training?

Or would it be more suitable to stick her with the Deep Ones since they operate close to Japan?

She's only passing through. In fact, Ice Guard may not have even NOTICED her , but it laid enough of a false trail that her pursuers assume she's gone to ground...and will take the subsequent disappearance of any operatives they initially send after her to be proof positive that she's there and picking off the opposition. This is simply shoveling fodder to the arctic mutants, though a few of the assassins might survive with varying degrees of trauma, and whether they return to civilization or are stuck at Ice Guard as new inmates base members("Yeah, right, you're a highly placed operative of a secret government organization and you need to get out of here. Well, I'm the (il)legitimate holder to the royal crown of Serbia-Herzegovenia . Pick it up with that snow shovel..."), they're effectively neutralized.

In the canon comic, she DOES manage to escape to America and winds up with a happy life, so averting the grimdark you'd expect. In a merged Robotech/Kabuki-verse, that's entirely possible too, with her taking up residence in North America or even immigrating offworld to a UEG/UEF Gloval-Initiative colony.

Well, in Vol, 1 of the series, she does manage to kill or incapacitate three Yakuza goons using the gears from an Elvis clock as shuriken.

The effective use of improvised weapons is considered to be a nessacry survival trait in the Ice Guard, The Deep Ones, The Pathfinders and MCSH#69 -The Rt-verce's verison of the Anything Goes style of martial arts.

"Now, in this video from the bridge of the Icarus, you will note how Minmei TOTALLY incapacitates Edwards' bridge crew using initially a foot gnawed off her late cousin's body, then various pieces of uniform, bridge furniture bits, and separated parts of bodies as she makes her way towards Edwards, before choking him to death with his own sidearm. I pity the fool who one up's her, however a no holds bared death match between the one who one up's her and minmei in a waist high pool filled with jell-o mixed with liquid LSD and Exstacy while dressed in skimpy pro-wrestling costumes would put the Earth in the black for next hundred million years if broadcast on inter-galatic pay per view.

Unless Minmei's opponent(male or female) decides to do unto her before she does unto them then watch as the ratings reach into the infinet numbers not to mention the unholy amount of money to be made in legal and illegal gambling and you have to admit it's better then Mecha-Sudi.

Just that in Bloopers, she's played for being a washed-up has-been, In Crossovers, she's a deadly badass.
The UEEF prison hospital is full of ex-Ghost Squadron members who can testify( often under heavy sedation, heavily strapped down, with all the lights on in the room) to that. The UEEF coroner just wishes that she'd left enough of Edwards for a positive identification, and thus remove from all doubt the possibility that he might have escaped.

Really now, in that case it would an act of the Dark Gods if Edwards pulled a come back kid more proof that the Dark Gods never have anyone's best intrests at heart as well being out to make everyone a miseably as possble even if they do not have the favour of the Dark Gods.

Other then that the Dark Gods sure know how to party, if you can get use the the *Mystery Meat* snacks and the screams of the damned blairing from the kick ass sound system, not to mention the sheer amount of demonic tail to be had.

That's provided Minmei isn't in deeper with the Dark Gods than Edwards(I believe one Blooper episode, she manages to blackmail Satan into turning Edwards over to her).

Check out the Shemarrian Fan Creations thread over in 'Rifts'.
It's me and a whole host of other people spinning out a new take on the Rifts Shemarrians...an exercise in world-building which has spun out to galactic proportions,
And our hardworking kronos has been compiling a formatting the EShemarrian Wiki...Incredible man, he is.

But in Rifts Robotics, you can have your robots incorporate locking joints, which allows them to freeze in place without buckling.
Berserkers are a caste-class of Shemarrian robot/gynoid that are hand to hand/melee combat experts. They go around half-naked most of the time to show off their prowess and contempt for modern weapons(I know Bikini Armor logic).
In the EShemar setting, if anybody's going to go pro wrestling, it would be the Bloodrider Tribe, who believe in doing things, especially combat sports, with PASSION.
And if anybody were to come up with robotic breasts usable in combat...it would be Bloodrider Tinkers. :D :P

Yeah, if you're not satisfied with any of the Eleven Founding Tribes, we have a Fringe Tribe Generator that allows you to randomly roll up new Shemarrian tribes.
We also encourage your own /other fan contributions, whether they be as part of our shared universe, original take, or part of the Great Toaster's minions.

Nice.

I wonder what would happen if a if a Shemmie was captures and subjected to a reverce transfired intelligence and had her mind/personalty transfered into a flesh and blood body, human or otherwise, in the case of being transferied in a human female body would the Shemmie go insane due to expericing real emotion and fleshy sensations?

Possibly. But I remember a 'Bolo' story where a Bolo is incarnated into a human body by benevolent aliens who need its help. He adapts pretty well, even experiencing the biological component of the affection he felt for his (dead) female commander. And he carries through a combat mission, even though it's plain suicide.
A bio-Shemar would adapt as best she could, would likely spring for cybernetics and bionics, but the EShemar are so advanced, that being flesh-and-blood would not be so hard a transition(they need sleep, they can eat and heal, and even have sex thanks to nanotech and biosystem enhancements)...and given half the chance, would have a go at kicking the ass if whoever forced her into a new body against her will.

I don't get it.

And in the case of MCSH#69 a *Joint Lock* means a school wide locker serach for drugs as well Nth dimentional locks on the nurse's room's drug cabinet.

Sweet I'm going to check it out, thanks for info, sounds delightfuly nasty.

I'm really going to have to check this out.

"Hotaru, I don't care if your Darkwaters mentor assigned you practice; return the nuclear weapons core to the American naval base..."
