Darkraven finally slumped against the foot of his destroid in the spacedock as the lockdown was released. It had been a rough couple of hours, but they'd managed to make it through with only a few fatalities.
Deathstroke had led Aleph Squad on a successful raid to drop the demoness Raven, and done so admirably. Deathstroke had done his research, and knew exactly how to break her protections. Aleph Squad had done the rest in their usual fashion.
The portal had closed, and the dimensional knocker had temporarily fallen out of alignment with the vibrational frequency of that world. It would be another week before contact could be made, but Oracle had been warned about that before they lost contact. The Insurgency would be put up with proper accomodations.
Kennedy Two-Bears was liaising with Nova, seemingly leading the Insurgency forces temporarily marooned. Somehow the older Alpha-Mook was giving orders, and they were obeying. Hell, he was barking orders to marines during the lockdown, and they obeyed without hesitation. Darkraven had figured that they were deferring to his experience in fighting capes, but he was still doing it, and people were still obeying. Somehow his gravelly voice carried the same weight as an order barked by senior NCOs.
Giganta had been shrunk down to manageable size, and power-inhibiting manacles had been produced, also by Two-Bears. Somehow the man had thought of that, as well as brought enough to manacle everyone involved. He also instructed the medical tech how to disable Bane's Venom unit, how to properly bind Superman, and how to block Sinestro and Jordan's access to their preferred energy waveform.
Darkraven remembered Harley telling him how good the guy was. He never expected this level of competency. It was a little off-putting.
As for the prisoners, Superman was still recuperating from the beating that a super-powered Breetai had given him, and was in energy-draining shackles. Hal Jordan was in medical after having been divested of his ring, while Sinestro was in a cell calmly reading a book that a marine had thoughtfully loaned him. Sinestro's ring was in Darkraven's pocket for safekeeping.
Wonder Woman was in Critical Care, having been gotten to before her body could fully die. It had been touch and go for a while, but she was slowly recovering. Shazam was bound and gagged in a cell; Darkraven would be talking to him later. Solomon Grundy's parts had been gathered up, loaded onto a drone, and launched towards a sun that was about to go pulsar. Bane was in a cell, thoroughly searched and his Venom rig safely removed. Cyborg had come out of the virtual battle with the Bolos and surrendered, Nobody knew why he surrendered, and the Bolos were being kind of smug about the whole thing. He was in a cell, looking disturbed.
Power Girl and Supergirl were also in cells wearing energy draining shackles. Two-Bears had stated that they were likely duped into going along with the invasion, as their personalities didn't really fit with Superman's fear-mongering world takeover. Everyone was waiting for them to wake up for the interrogations. Cheetah was in full power-dampening restraints, as well as a device that created a magic-draining field. All Two-Bears' idea.
As for the Insurgents, Shiva was recuperating well in the medical bay. She was still unconscious, but the techs had her lined up for Edenii regeneration once the super pill wore off. Breetai was in the bed next to hers, slated for the same treatment.
Harley Quinn was in high spirits, joking with the marines while her hyenas were brought some food. It turned out that they were quite happy, affectionate animals when their mistress wasn't angry.
Red Hood had taken off his helmet, revealing a good-looking young man with red hair and a white streak. He was flirting with some of the female marines, while Red Robin was inventorying his remaining equipment. Some of the female marines were flirting with him, much to his slight discomfort. Black Bat was now sitting on a crate almost in an overwatch position, just observing the interactions.
Kennedy Two-Bears was asking where he could grab a smoke without getting flushed with fire-retardent foam, and then a beer. Deathstroke was still off-dimension with Aleph Squad, awaiting the dimensional knocker to reopen the gateway.
All that remained was the interrogations. Nova, Breetai, and Leonard would be dealing with the Coucil; that crap was so far above Darkraven's pay grade he'd need a telescope to see it. For which he was thankful.

If she'd been caught young enough, she might not have turned into Little Miss Relationship-Stringer.
And later in life it's been implied that she suffered HARD at the hands of Edwards and his gang; provided she doesn't just go catatonic and disappear off the storyline, I could see her becoming a different person. Whether or not she has enough life ahead of her to do anything with that changed life, though, is questionable. I mean, look at Rick, who wasn't much older than her, and he's not aged well, given the strain on him.
I think I mentioned the old indie comic from the days when HG was loose with the license and was letting the comics licensees run wild with the franchise into abomination territory. One of mention had a page or two of a late-life Minmei, clearly scarred, but a lot more sedate and composed, as the apparent head of a Torol-based music conservatory. It's the image I have most in mind for a UEsG Minmei.....has a life long enough to potentially overcome whatever Edwards did to her, find a man she can be comfortable with, and settle down to being competent at something rather than glamorous, and find usefulness rather than celebrity. She'll have her own cross-dimensional adventures, in ways that don't dredge up the past and don't require her to be the Minmei of the past.
In the same vein, I see Bloopers Minmei as a more comic take on UEsG Minmei, with a life of her own, some crazy adopted kids, and a very extreme bipolarism, ranging mentally and physically from the much put-upon self-centered man-seeking airhead of fancanon, then mutating into the uber-kickass, take-no-prisoners, don't-call-me-airhead Hulk-mei or pagan idol singer(it helps that her airhead phase lasts long enough that everybody thinks she's finally gone into 'default mode' for her and they comfortably forget(post-traumatic amnesia) her killer-competent side when she overturns local organized crime syndicates for fun, and settles old scores all over again.
It's contrast shock when she snaps into psycho mode.
