I'm worthless because all I can say is go with whatever you think is reasonable.

Re: Civilian Vehicles (and Construction Materials) in Rifts
I know we're not supposed to directly copy and paste junk from the books, but given the nature of the OP's question I dont think they will care if I post a few numbers.
From Heroes Unlimited 2, page 136:
Lt Motorcycle - 75
Hvy Motorcycle - 100
Compact Car - 250
Sports Car - 300
Jeep - 450
2 door sedan - 350
4 door - 400
Luxury Car - 450
Station Wagon - 450
Mini van - 400
Utility van - 500
Small Truck - 350
Pickup - 450
Passanger Bus - 500
1/2 ton truck - 600
16-wheeler - 1000
As others have suggested, doing a straight SDC to MDC conversion for using modern Rifts materials would be fine, but very expensive too.
Also, the rules for converted vehicles in the Mercenaries books are excellent. Goldent age Weaponsmiths does MDC conversion at the same price as MDC repair found in the Sourcebook 1.
Revised Sourcebook one page 37 says:
Power Armor repair - 8000 credits per 10 MDC
Robot Vehicle repair - 40,000 credits per 10 MDC
I have never liked those numbers, mostly because GAW sells retrofitted tanks with 180 MDC for 85,000 credits. I highly encourage everyone to come up with their own repair costs. Mine are almost always 1/10th of the book prices.
I do seem to recall a page that listed the weight of MDC materials, but now I cant remember exactly where.

Yeah, book prices for repairs are crap.
After taking 10 mdc to a plastic man armor, you'd be better off just buying a new suit of armor.
