Product Update April 15, 2009

The Rifter® #46 is done and at the Printer

I suspect this may be one of those issues that sells out fast because it is packed with a wide assortment of articles and sourcematerial: Dragons in Rifts®, Brodkil and their twisted society, the city of Worldgate in Wormwood™, Quick Roll Villains for Dyval™ plus some Dyvalian henchmen (all “official” sourcematerial for Dyval™), creatures for BTS-2, Weird Mutants for HU2 and After the Bomb®, Hawaiian myth and supernataral beings, a Fantasy setting short story, and more!

The Dead Reign™ Sourcebook is coming along well. There are more observations and advice from Brad Ashley, three new zombie variants, villains and madmen, survivor camp creation tables and lots and lots of random tables that players and G.M.s will find very useful. It is still on track to go to the printer on Thursday or Friday, and will be available at the Palladium Open House and ship just before or after it.

Rifts® Shemarrian Nation™ is already at the printer and ships April 24!

Nightbane® Survival Guide™ is the book we dive into for final rewrite and editing next Monday. The artwork coming in from the main artists, Amy Ashbaugh and Stephen Fox, has exceeded my expectations. Still waiting on the cover (the cover sketch was awesome). We expect to get it to the printer before the Palladium Open House for a May release.

The color Palladium magnets came in and all four of them look awesome. I know some of you might think that’s silly, but they look great and I’ve been putting them on every metal object I can find. They look great on the refrigerator.

New T-shirts and Rifts dice bags should start rolling in soon too. Can hardly wait to see the full color shirts!! Most of these items will be offered for sale online, after the Palladium Open House (we’re doing too much in April to post them online now.) Besides, the POH will be our test market.

It is a mad rush to get product to the printer and get ready for the Palladium Open House. Our heads are swirling as we juggle dozens of different aspects for both.

We still don’t know what final attendence will be for the POH. Several people have sent in for their admissions tickets this week and I suspect a number of fans will be showing up at the door! I’ve talked to several people who said they’d be coming at the last minute. Hey, we don’t care, just come on down and join the fun!

Sincerely,
