Since the Mirrormage OCC can "import" phenomena from other "realities" with
the Opening the Mirrorwall spell; and they can use the Astral Portal spell
and Dreamstream spells, so they obviously know about these other planes/dimensions
(not to mention being able to travel to them via mirrors located in each).

So their buddy is an Astral Lord or Astral Mage and has spent CPs to make
their domain have all sorts of special features (say 1 from below)

  • creators can cast a spell or psionic power
  • creators can teleport directly into their domain
  • creators can have special defenses
  • creators can have access to extra PPE

(see Between the Shadows for more info)

...So, using Opening the Mirrorwall they should be able to replicate these
features in the area of effect...right :?: :D

No, the spell explictly only allows ONE change from the other side to be used.

To import such phenomenon, the caster has to know of the place where such phenomenon exist. This limits the caster's choices to what he knows 'can happen elsewhere'.

using the list of powers given

  • 1) creators can cast a spell or psionic power
  • 2) creators can teleport directly into their domain
  • 3) creators can have special defenses
  • 4) creators can have access to extra PPE

and that the MM that helped make the AD with those powers, so he knows of such a place.
1) they could get one of the paid for spells/psi powers
2) the MM could D-T-port to the AD. however, if the GM was mean, then everyone could D-T-port to the AD.
3) about the same as #2 above, and limited to what "special defenses" were paid for. if something like a t-port out of domain special defense, then it would t-port them just outside the effect area.
4) about the same as #2 above, and limited to what "extra PPE" were paid for.

Note on #2: if the GM was really mean, the D-T-port might just take the jumper to 'the void'.

However, unless the MM has actually traveled to other dimensions, then they have knowing what possibilities are out there, and what is fiction. So if the MM is going for an effect with out knowing it's possible somewhere. Then he might need to roll vs his spell scroll conversion % to see if the phenomenon was imported.
