LL don't have a limit per say.
But I was in a game where there was a TW how built his tower, looked like a light house, at the end of a LL. And the DTPort device that sucked the LL dry. (not gone, just closed till it recharged)

Ley Lines just happen to be fairly benign, "exposed wiring" in the fabric of the Universe that properly trained individuals can tap and draw from without limit (except as outlined by PPE per Time Frame in the various books).
