My first Palladium character, joined a party on the quest for Deathkiss. We ended up in a dwarven stronghold that had been cut off from the rest of the world and they still made rune weapons there. The one I got was a short sword name fish. I do not remember all the powers but was a short sword that could control fish and had water elemental spells. He was an avid ichthyologist who would go on and on about fish. It was hilarious. btw it was made of a type of metal that would melt in direct sunlight.

I would wear these, then tell people that they were surrounded by my invisible minions.
If they said that they could see the invisible, I'd let them know that my minions were double invisible.

The Pocket Watch
Sentient, mobile, copper clam-shell type pocket watch with chain. Rarely moved infront of people other than it's "owner", usually only asked for cheese, freaked out our biomancer. Commandeered the cargo area of my technowizard's transport and started building something with some random parts and a deactivated skelebot. Teleported one of the players who acted aggressive towards it into the middle of a lake.

Our Techno Wizard has made his "Montezuma Rifle" a rifle with the Ludicrous Spell of Diarrhea with a extreamly long range (2000 feet) plus he has a Beat-Insumountable Odds targeting site. He keeps waiting for the day when he can use it on Karl during one of his Nation wide speeches.

Belt of Gender Change
Looked like a Belt of Giant's Strength in every way except one. two symbols merged into one symbol the Male and female symbols.

One of the place thought he really scored finding a magic belt that would grant you the strength of a giant. he failed his perception roll to notice it. Another character noticed it and wrote it down, but could not identify the symbol. The Players didn't even know it/them.
When he went against advice to not play with unknown magic items, and put on the belt anyways, he was Transformed into a woman forever. Had him reroll his PB. He did have a PB 9, but ended up with a 24 as a woman. HE was PISSED. We all laughed our butts off at him. Other PCs would find him off alone checking out his new body and enjoying it ;) Yeah he learned to accept it and enjoy it. He even sueduced a few of them when they forgot he used to be a guy. Which is quickly would remind them in game say "Haa, you were kissing a guy and you liked it." or "You just slept with a guy and enjoyed it" One of the other players got him saying ... "Well So did you." LOL it was so funny back then.

MY Other was ripped from "Knight of the Dinner Table". The Green Portal of Death.
Large group of 8 players. Only one lived. My coward player. He wanted to know WHY i took ppl to another room and when we trurned I forced them to wear a paper bag on their heads. He almost went through though. Almost. Instead he collected their stuff they left behind and left the castle. When we told him what had happened. he busted out laughing. Because he is the greedy player in the group, and the one time he was not greedy saved his life and the one time they were greedy they died.

...snip

This is one of the magic items I remember from my playing D&D 25 years ago.
Thou, if you tried to switch back there was a good change you'd end up neuter. I think I'd rather be a woman then to be sexless.

How about a belt of invisibility that only turned the wearer's clothes invisible to everyone but the wearer.

Just had a pondering, would this item turn just clothes invisible, or would it turn armor invisible also?
