i need some help statting up creatures for a planet. The planet is a forest world very humid & looks like Kashyyyk from Knights of the Old Republic. i have a race living in the trees (they look like cats & psionically fly). i am NOT lookiing for a conversion of star wars stuff i only mentioned as it is what the world looks like to me.
I have some ideas for a couple creatures but am having problems stating them up. One is a creature that looks like a warthog but is three times the size with the spinal plates & tail spikes of a stegosaurus. the second is a small (doberman sized) pack animals that the hog feeds on. the third is a LARGE predator who hunts & feeds on the hog the fourth is a super predator & that niche is is wide open.
The world is set in the phase world dimension & is located just inside the CCW & was seeded with kreegor bloodhounds prior to the joining of the CWW, which didnt effect the people much (being tree dwelling fliers ) & the hounds have survived & filled a niche in there but they are both hunted & the hunter
Thanks for your help

The Alien creation tables in HU1, HU2, PW.
Try looking in the Monster Creation tables in Land of the damned 1 ( <-- recomended) or RMB. And look at the Monsters and Animals book.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.

Re: Stating creatures
I used the aliens creation tables to come up with the flying cats that is how i got flying psionicly. I then had to come up with a world & reason why they developed this way so made the ground extreamely dangerious (many deadly creatures).
The problem is that the party (which includes one of the cats (which are called Owski)) is demanding to go on a hunting expedion on the planets suface (one of them wants to see just how dangerious it is) so i posted on here for help. Thanks for the references

Re: Stating creatures
I highly suggest picking up Splicers. The host armor creation system is great for building weird creatures whose job is to die horribly in battle against PCs.

Probably you mean "statting" creatures, not "Stating" creatures.
