For those who are including magic in their Dead Reign campaigns:
The sanctum spell is a very powerful tool for keeping Zombies at bay and creating safe zones althought the PPE cost is quite high.
My question in regards to the spell is, does it prevent the creation of zombies within it's perimeter?
My thoughts are that the spell would prevent the creation of a zombie within it's perimeter and that's how I would run it.
For those who might disagree and think that a zombie can be created within the perimeter of the spell, what happens then? Is it forced to flee the area immediately or can it ignore the effects of this high level and resource intensive spell because it's already inside the perimeter?
I would like to point out before we get underway that this is not a discussion on wether or not player characters would reasonably have access to this spell. It is simply intended to discuss the effects of the spell itself.
Why I started wondering this is that I recently re-read the Rifter entries in 40 and 45 for Dead Reign. In the scenerio presented there, the zombies all sort of just came into being, all at once. In that situation, I started wondering what would happen to individuals inside the protective zone of a sanctum spell when the wave hit? The first answer that occurred to me is that the sanctum spell would protect these individuals from the effect of the wave. However, when the spell was written, I don't think this scenerio was envisioned so there is some room for debate and variant opinions. That is why I'm asking about the thoughts of others on this subject.

I was raised to beleive if you can't say something nice about a person, say nothing at all. This has led to living a very quiet life.

Re: Sanctum Spell
I was actually thinking about those who might be inside the protection of a sanctum spell when the wave hits.
