I like a lot of the references that exist. The Force from star wars is rather popular. But what is what your feeling of what Chi is?

I'd rather not. I believe that every other time this topic comes up the discussion turns into a flamewar.

Chi is a largely physical manifestation of Potential Psychic Energy. While not "physical" in the sense that you can touch it, it is in the sense that its flow can be altered by physical objects (feng shui, dark chi being associated with places of death, darkness, and stagnation), and that its presence is necessary for the health of living bodies.

Chi is the energy of the body and spirit. Everything, not just alive things, has it in it and interacts with it. It flows through the world.
Chi+ is mostly found above ground and accumulates in areas of unsullied nature.
Chi- is mostly found underground and in areas of pollution. (Graveyards etc....)
(PPE: energy of the body and soul, ISP: energy of the mind)
While the three types of energies might come from the same ultimate source, they are as different in nature as fossil fuels, nuclear power, and solar power.
