[fanbook] Equipment and Weapons
Posted: Sat Jul 04, 2009 6:45 pm
just a little work i did yesterday when i got bored. note that some the jackalope ranger's gear was originally done by Pepsi jedi, i've just adjusted it a bit, mostly fluff wise. (though i did add one weapon for them..)
most of this gear was written by taking similar weapons from the compendium of modern weapons, HUr, N&SS, Systems Failure, and other SDC settings and using them as comparisons. prices were based on ATB2 items. note: i still haven't added ammo prices yet, nor a few weapons i have ideas for..)
the main focus of this prelim list is the Jackalope rangers of Fort Wolpertiger (douglas wyoming), the stuff produced by the Holstein enclaves in the midwest (not part of free cattle, but trading partners with them), and the common stuff made in the 'deadlands' of texas and oklahoma.
gun fans will probably be able to tell which weapons served as inspirations for each...
