I was looking through the latest Previews for September (a catalog of comics that will be shipped via Diamond for that month)

There is a new comic coming out by DC's Vertigo line called Sweet Tooth. I flipped past it several times before I read it and thought, "This is very similar to After the Bomb!"

I read over the rules, and I don't think it's breaking them by posting the description as Im not doing a conversion. If it is, I am terribly sorry and please feel free to delete.

Sweet Tooth #1 - After being raised in total isolation, Gus - a boy born with deer-like antlers - is left to survive in an American landscape devestated a decade earlier by an inexplicable pandemic. Even more remarkable is that Gus is part of a rare new breed of human/animal hybrid children who have emerged in its wake, all apparently immune to the infection.

Enter Jepperd, a violent, hulking drifter who soons takes in Gus and promises to lead him to "The Preserve," a fabled safe-haven for hybrid children. Along the way they'll have to contend with science militias, deadly scavengers, rival bounty hunters, and hybrid worshipping cultists as they fight to make it to safety and solve the mysteries of this deadly new frontier.

Just thought those who were interested in AtB might like something like this. I know Ill pick up issue 1 at least to check it out.
