I doubt the sensing portion of a zombie's powers are changed, though if you want to make them more dangerous to high PPE PCs then go for it. Seeing on the other hand would definately be changed. As the amount of PPE goes up, the "brighter" the PC will appear to zombies. Though they could still cover up like theregular people of DR to hide.
Now Creatures of Magic and supernatural creatures may have more of a problem. It's possible that the zombies can not only sense them at greater distances than the zombies can sense humans, but they'd need even thicker material to hide themselves from a zombie's sight.
Second, what happens if one of them dies by a zombie attack?
Unless it's a species that can't be transformed (Nightbane and True Atlanteans are two examples) then the victim should become a zombie.
How does the high level of PPE affect the zombies that killed him? Can they be supercharged by it?
I'm not really sure. My first guess is that a PPE level in the hundreds should bring zombies up to full power, and a PPE level in the thousands could supercharge them. Though I have no clue what a "supercharged" zombie entails.
And what about the dead character themself? Do they become a zombie with higher PPE? Are they more likely to become zombie variants?
They'd just have the normal amount of PPE the DR zombies have. As for becoming the different types, if you want them to sure, go for it.
