Fleets was approved today & random thoughts

I Approved Fleets today
It has been another busy week in which we got a great deal accomplished, but it still doesn’t feel like enough.
I ran out to the printer today and approved the printer proof copies of the Fleets of the Three Galaxies™. The cover looked better than I had remembered and the entire book is fantastic. It is just filled with so much good material from history to story ideas, to spaceships and 72 new Space Magic spells. Fleets of the Three Galaxies™ is on track to ship July 27
Spent the rest of the day working (paid bills, answered emails, etc.) and goofing off a bit. I spent a good 45 minutes chatting with my friends at the printer, then I spent two hours and $106 on books at Barnes and Noble (I love that store . . . but . . . must stay away or . . . will spend money on books . . . gah, blacking out).
I spent another hour or so hitting some garage sales, and then went back to the office to do some more work. It's 9:30 PM and I'm heading home.
I’ll be coming back Saturday and Sunday to do a bunch of grunt business stuff (like bookkeeping and contracts) and assign out artwork for upcoming books.
The weather was beautiful today, and it just felt like a lazy day. I’m very happy with the quality of our recent releases, and I’m excited about upcoming titles like Fleets, Mysteries of Magic™, Dimensional Outbreak™, Robotech® Marines Sourcebook™ and even non-book products like the Rifts® Baseball cap, Property of the Coaliition States™ coffee mug, Dead Reign™ coffee mug, and other things in the pipeline. Sales were decent this week, and I’m excited about my daughter’s upcoming wedding.
Maybe I’m just feeling positive and content today. I feel like we are doing great work, giving a lot of new talent a shot, and, I hope, the worst is behind us. I still wish sales would pick up more dramatically, faster, and stay up, but I’ll take what I can get. Been thinking about my Mom and Erick Wujcik the last few days, and feeling warm and fuzzy about them. I'd like to think they are having a grand time in heaven.
