Fragile Bone to MDC Bone & Shape Bone

OK,

So the Fragile Bone to MDC Bone has a little addendum which says that bone turned into MDC can't be shaped by the Shape Bone spell.

But the Shape Bone spell doesn't say anything about not working on MDC Bone.

So, while it seems obvious, the question becomes, does it Shape Bone only not work on bone which was converted and will work on natural MDC Bone. Or does it not work on any bone which is MDC, regardless of how it got that way, naturally or magically.

What are your guys opinion?

Well there are bones which would naturally be MDC in Rifts.

But I think you are saying it would only work on non-MDC bones, regardless of if they were MDC originally or made into MDC? Yes?

Let me put it this way, "Shape Bone can't be used to shape MDC bone that was made MDC via the FB to MDC B."
This is probably due to that Shape bone can't shape the magic also in the now MDC bone.

If you shape the bone before you make it MDC... "no problem" , because the making it MDC magic isn't there to hinder the shape bone spell.

So as long as the bones (MDC or SDC) have not been magic'ed, they should be no hinderance to using the shape bone spell on them.

Put simply, the Shape Bone spell cannot be used on a bone already altered by magic. I think you would have to negate the first spell or something.
