More Strangeness . . .
Alex just handed me the mail. It contained some bills (ick), a small mail order, a catalog request, and a card.
A Christmas card!
The envelope had no return address, the card was not signed, and the envelope was postmarked from Los Angeles. The front of the card read: “Greetings of the Season” in red, printed on gold. Inside was a seasonal well wish, a twenty dollar bill, and a note that read as follows:
Greetings of the Season!
What season?

Wow! How nice and what a pleasant surprise! I hope you know that you wonderful fans do not need to be sending Palladium gifts, but the gesture was a surprise, made us all smile and laugh, and – I kid you not – I have been Jonesing for a pizza! Thank you to our Fairy Godmother or Godfather in L.A., I’ll be buying pizza for everyone and enjoying every slice.
