My old group and I want to start gaming again. We split up when we graduated college, as many of us moved away. We have not had good luck finding similar-minded groups out there and were looking for options for play online. Ideally we'd like to have a free method for all of us to videochat. Dice rolls could either be handled by aiming the webcam at the dice or an online dice roller.
I'm sure other people out there have played online, please share your methods!

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that skype only works for 2 people with webcam.
We really want the video chat, but are planning on Skype or Ventrillo (a lot of us are MMO players so we have access to a few vent servers) if we can't do the video chat.

Although there is no webcam function, http://www.rpol.net is free and has an awesome die roller. Furthermore when you create a game you are in control, as there is no site 'game master' who will tell you how to run your game, or force you to add players you don't want in the game.
All you really need to do is follow the site's TOU in regards to the content in your game as it pertains to the rating level you have assigned to it.

Isn't that strictly a play by post setup?
We're looking for more interactive. Video chat at scheduled times, etc. Bare minimum just going with voice chat, but we'd like the video there as that is as close as we can get to the old days of playing face to face.

Yes its a PBP site, but the odds of you all being able to video chat at the same time from multiple locations is probably slim. If your spread out across the country and or world you might as well kiss the 'old days'of face to face gaming good bye.
