Podcast goof, Thanksgiving Palladium Sales & stuff
I thought the Gateway to the Megaverse® Podcast went great. I talked about my visit to Blizzard Entertainment and other fun stuff, and the overall show was fairly high energy and fun.
HOWEVER, I forgot to tell people that Palladium was going to have a few special online offers from November 25-November 30
Thanksgiving Sales items from Palladium
Something different. One very limited and weird is a signed photocopy of The Mechanoids® #3 and #4 comic books from Caliber. The Mechanoids® comics came out in 1989-1991, and only three issues saw print. The fourth issue was partially finished, but never completed and never saw print. Alex M and I have signed two sets of issue #3 and #4 and they’ll be put up for sale in the Palladium store tomorrow afternoon or evening. To my knowledge, the artwork from The Mechanoids® #4 has NEVER been seen before. So the two people who purchase this bit of history ($50 for the set) will have something truly unique.
Kevin Siembieda art giveaway with purchase of print set. A number of people have requested that the Special Christmas Surprise Package “Print Set” be made available without having to order the Surprise Package. Five prints, estimated value: $40+; limited to 530 copies, each print signed by each artist.
I’m making it available for FIVE DAYS ONLY! Otherwise it is available only to those who order Surprise Packages.
And the first 20 to buy one will get one of my hand-drawn and colored “Christmas Dragon” sketches. Each piece is an original, each is slightly different. (Estimated value: $20+)
In addition, after the first 20 are sold, every one in five print sets sold will ALSO get an original “Christmas Dragon” drawing by me. Full details in the Palladium Press Release and online store Wednesday evening.
I thought it would be a fun thing to include the dragon artwork and I had fun doing them. I really wanted to mention the print set and Dragon art special on the darn podcast, but I forgot. What a dope. Spread the word. Um, spread the word about the print/art special, not that I'm a dope (too many people already know that, anyway).

Of course, nothing beats the value of Palladium’s annual, Christmas Surprise Package where you can get autographed books, the Special Print Package, other Palladium products, and original art by me and Kent Burles, Brian Manning, Allen Manning, Nick Bradshaw, and the occasional other artist -- for cheap.

This week's Press Release with sale specials will get posted and e-mailed tomorrow, November 25. I’m happy to report a great number of people have told us they really enjoy getting the weekly press releases and updates.
Online sales. Holiday and Christmas Surprise Package sales continue to climb (as they should this time of year) and the folks ordering them have been overjoyed with what they’ve been getting. We work hard to make EVERY Surprise Package special, so I am to pleased to hear folks are delighted.
Dead Reign™: Dark Places™ ships on Monday. I can hardly wait to get them out and in your hands. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.
Dad is still doing well. I’m happy to report that my Dad, Henry, is still in good spirits and the health of his friend and roommate, Arlene is holding steady. I’ll be taking Dad out for breakfast tomorrow morning.
2010 products. We’ve already been plotting our 2010 releases and have a lot of good stuff in the pipeline, but more on that another time.
I don’t know if I’ll post a Murmur before next week (probably). I plan to crash and relax on Thanksgiving and go shopping early morning Friday (yeah, it’s crazy, I know, but I only hit Target, Kohl’s and one or two other stores – I avoid Walmart like the plague), then work in solitude the rest of the weekend.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING. I hope you have a fulfilling, fun and safe Thanksgiving weekend. Enjoy your families, friends and time off. Oh, and be careful not to spend too much – unless it’s on Palladium products, in which case the sky is the limit.
