Today and tomorrow is it!

Today and tomorrow is it, your last chance to get a 2009 Christmas Surprise Package.

After Friday, you’ll have to wait till NEXT Christmas to enjoy this deal, so get your orders in before it is too late. (But check out the Friday Press Release, on FRIDAY, for a secret about that.) DON'T MISS OUT!

There is a lot of other stuff is going on

The Monday live podcast was rescheduled to Tuesday due to circumstances beyond our control. It went very well and was a lot of fun. I was a little “wired,” so I hope I didn’t come off too intense.

I saw my Dad on Wednesday and he was in GREAT spirits, laughing and joking around. Arlene was in good spirits too. We had a good time. It’s really nice to see my Dad so positive. I just hope he gets good news in February that his bladder cancer is, indeed, gone. My Dad falls into melancholy very easily and stays there for months at a time, so he won’t handle it well if the cancer is back and more surgery and chemotherapy is required. One reason for that is his personality, but another is that he was there, every step of the way, for my Mother’s two decade long battle with cancer (first breast cancer then bone). My grandmother, Erick Wujcik, Keith Parkinson and others close to us also died from cancer, so it is something dreadful for my Dad. In fact, I’m surprised he’s not starting to worry in advance of finding out. I think he’s convinced himself that he’s licked it. I pray he’s right.

There continues to be interest in Nightbane® from Hollywood, Palladium’s agent and reps are feeling out other markets for possible licensing of it and other Palladium intellectual properties (IPs), and we’ve been busy helping on those fronts.

I’ve also been coordinating production aspects of several books in production, and taking care of some business and legal issues, as well as selecting and signing books for the last of the Christmas Surprise Packages. All that means I’ve been on the phone a great deal – like 7-8 hours a day!

The bad news is while we have a lot of exciting things cooking, I have not had the opportunity to do much actual writing and editing. Grrrr. I hope to get tons done over the weekend starting tomorrow.

It hasn’t helped that I seem to be fighting off some kind of bug and feeling a little under the weather. Had to go home and take a nap for a couple hours this afternoon. Thankfully, it helped.

The Rifter® Super-Subscription offer starts tomorrow (Friday, January 15, and runs till March, but don't delay). It think it's our best offer yet. Enjoy.

Sincerely,
