Snow bound but working away

Snow bound but working away.

Wayne started typesetting on Rifts® Dimensional Outbreak™ yesterday evening as Alex and I continue to work on finishing editing and rewrites of the last few sections. Great book.

Online Sales have been up and down. The weekend was lousy. Tuesday morning sales were strong. This morning (Wednesday) sales were weak but not awful.

The Rifter® subscription offer is a great deal. I recommend taking advantage of it, especially with the epic #50 Anniversary issue. I just approved the final sketch for the cover and the last few contributions are coming in. Editing, art and layout is next.

2010 Palladium Open House pre-registration is still below last year’s numbers, but a few seem to come in every day now. This celebration of role-playing games, Palladium Books, and Rifts’ 20th birthday is going to be a blast. I hope many of you join us.

The big snow storm for Michigan wasn’t too bad, at least not around us. We only got 6-7 inches of snow. Roads aren’t too bad and it was our first “big” storm of the season so we can’t complain. Its cold and gloomy, but hey, Spring is right around the corner (and so is the Palladium Open House, only like 12 weeks away!)

I’m nervous about Dad’s cancer test tomorrow. I take him to the doctor’s crack of dawn, and they put him under to scope him out. Hopefully the cancer is gone. He’s been uncharacteristically optimistic, so I hope the news is good.

Kathy’s daughter, Tina, finds out if her bladder cancer is gone later this month too. Sheesh.

My son Adam’s birthday is Friday and I have to remember to UPS him his gifts. Hard to believe he’s 31. Time flies.

Better get back to work.

Sincerely,
Kevin Siembieda
