do you think ?
do you think there would ,could be away to mask , cover up and or defuse ones p.p.e so that the zombies would not be able to see you ?
Re: do you think ?
Yes, Alter Aura and Mask P.P.E. are psionics that could do just the trick. I'm wondering if a zombie would even detect a Nega-Psychic at all if it weren't moving?

Re: do you think ?
First: I don't believe that Zombies "see" your PPE. They see your life-force aura. While this aura seems to have some ill-defined relationship with PPE, the two are not the same.
So, is it possible to maks your aura? Yes. Wear a desk. Or a door. Or a thick cardboard box (Solid Snake anyone?0
Is it possible to cover up your aura? Unlikely. Although Kirilian photography and electromagnetic sensors claim to be able to see and record auras there is no evidence that these auras can be altered in any significant way. You might be able to find something with a more powerful aura, and hide near it, but zombies would still be attracted to the larger aura, and thus yours by proximity.
Is it possible to diffuse your aura? Again, unlikely. With no real understanding as to how or even why our auras attract the undead, the odds of locating a device or process to diffuse the auras seems remote.
However, if you plan on importing Magic, Psionic powers, or Chi abilities from other game settings then yes, there are probably a couple of dozen ways to accomplish any of the above conditions.

Again, because the Rift is not "alive" then no, they would not likely be attracted to it. If Zombies were attracted to PPE, then they would tend to congregate around Ley Lines and Nexus points, which I don't believe they do.

It's no better and no worse, just different.
One could say that they're attracted to human-shaped PPE sources first, all others second. Since (in what was published) they'll kill animals as a substitute, I see no reason why they wouldn't use a ley line or nexus as the next best thing (or a hamster).

Check out the other thread on it, been discussed as nauseum.
Opinions differ, but I come down on the side of environmental PPE doing nothing for zombies. First it is never mentioned. Second environmental PPE is different then the PPE that is release upon death. The PPE from death priests has to be specially channeled for the zombies to use/absorb it. So that to me says ley lines, PPE in magical items, etc cannot be used by zombies, nor could somebody normally give up PPE to a zombie, it takes a death priest to funnel it, that or the zombie choking it from you.
Zombies probably would also ignore environmental PPE. They'd just see it as 'unusable PPE' or something similar. Animals know when water is salt water and avoid it, they just drink fresh water.
