A good weekend and Outbreak ships Friday

Unread post by Kevin »

We had a good weekend

Money is still tight, but we're getting a lot done and feeling positive.

Online sales for the weekend were strong, but a big order by gamer, Lowell Van Wagener, pushed us over into the very good weekend sales category. Thanks Lowell, we appreciate it.

I just hope sales stay strong all week long and not bounce up and down like last week. I think they should. After all, we have Dimensional Outbreak™ shipping on Friday, the Palladium Open House™ coming up (get those admissions orders placed) and March is the month for our spectacular Rifter® Subscription Offer. http://www.palladiumbooks.com/Merchant2 ... t_Code=100

We did a lot over the weekend.

All books coming out in March and April are at some level of final production.

The artwork and concept drawings for Rifts® Triax™ 2 by Mike Wilson are looking great.

Wayne and Alex have started editing material for The Rifter® Number 50, and art assignments are going out.

I’ve been writing away on Rifts® Heroes of the Megaverse™. Writing was coming slow at first, but ideas are flying and I’m sizzling hot.

On top of all that, I’ve been discussing and coordinating work for Robotech® New Generation™ and a supplement for it.

I can’t wait for Dimensional Outbreak™ to get into your hands. You’re gonna love it. Should ship Friday.

Kathy Simmons sold a couple of her Halloween ghouls, including a brightly colored and friendly wizard that will be used as a display prop in a Magic Shop. Is that cool or what? She also has something like 12 custom orders: One for a Mad Doctor’s assistant and Nurse, one for 6 zombies (maybe more) and one for three Witches bent over creepy stewing pots. Apparently, Halloween people start planning and buying in the early part of the year.

In addition, Kathy . . . um, I mean the Queen of Ghouls has plans for her own creations for resale, including killer clowns, zombies, witches, devils, vampires, werebeasts and more! I actually took a few hours off from writing to paint SEVEN masks and turn them into zombies for Kathy. It was a blast, and I think the fun change of pace helped get my writing juices flowing. Weird how creativity works like that.

It’s bright and sunny, after nearly three weeks of snow and drab, so I’m feeling positive and writing up a storm. I hope all of you are doing well and having a good day as well.

Sincerely,
Kevin Siembieda
