We've been putting in long hours and working hard to pound out books all week.
Wayne and Alex have spent the majority of their time editing all week.
Kathy has been processing Rifts® Dimensional Outbreak™ orders – which ships tomorrow or Monday. It looks like we have about 200 orders for the book so far. Nice. I'm sure we'll see more orders pour in when people hear how great this book is.
Alex and Kathy are also calling gamers who pre-ordered Rifts® Dimensional Outbreak™, but whose credit cards have expired. They need new credit card info. It seems like a lot of people have moved in the last year too, so make sure we have your current address.
Julius has been processing orders, prepping for Outbreak and prepping the warehouse for the Open House. The place is looking good.
As fo me, I’ve sent out the rest of the art assignments for The Rifter® #50, Rifts® Triax™ 2, and Rifts® Vampire Kingdoms™, as well as writing Heroes of the Megavese®, visiting my Dad, emails, and dealing with a pile of business stuff.
Heroes of the Megavese® is coming along well. I like where this book is going and the artwork coming in is looking great. The artwork and concept drawings for Rifts® Triax™ 2 by Mike Wilson are also rocking. Boy, oh Boy, do we have some great books in the pipeline.
Online sales for the weekend have been up and down, but without the extreme highs and lows we saw last week. Overall sales have been pretty good. This morning’s sales were the lowest, but for some reason Wednesday night/Thursday morning is almost always the lowest of the week. I don’t know why. I’m sure it has something to do with work patterns.
The Palladium Open House™ is only 7 weeks away. Seven. I’m starting to get nervous. I aways get nervous befor the event. I worry that we’ll not get enough gamers attending. I worry we won't have enough gaming events (G.M.s, please get us your descriptions of games you are running in the next week!). I worry about people having fun. I worry I forgot something important (I still have to order trophies for the Costume Contest, tables, chairs, T-shirts, Hoodies, etc.). I cannot believe the Open House is only 7 weeks away. I need more time!!! Gee, what else is new?
