Monday Morning Report – March 8, 2010

Worked all weekend, but I didn't get much writing done. I'm either fighting a bug, or I have finally pushed myself to my limit.

Saturday wasn’t bad. I put in 12 hours, got some good ideas down, and a decent amount of writing, but by late afternoon, I wasn’t feeling well.

Sunday started out high energy, but something clobbered me around noon that took the wind out of my sails. I was working slow, super-slow and having trouble writing. I had a low fever (99.5), felt exhausted, achy and a bit out of it. I had trouble concentrating on writing, so I paid bills, and caught up on my email. Alex, came in that evening, took one look at me and told me to go home. I went home at 8:15 PM. Went to bed at 10:30 PM. DVRed the Oscars.

Feeling much better this morning but not 100%. Got in at 8:00. Still feeling sluggish and I have a mild headache. I'm thinking I might go home and sleep some more for a while, and come back in later this afternoon.

Online sales were very good over the weekend, and orders for Dimensional Outbreak™ have been outstanding.

Distributor orders for Outbreak are strong too. About 30% higher that than the last couple of titles. Cool, maybe the economy is picking up a bit. I just pray sales stay strong.

While I’m not happy with the progress I made writing Heroes of the Megaverse™ over the weekend, I am very pleased with the content of what has been written and the artwork coming in for it. I think this is going to be another fun and exciting sourcebook.

As of 10:15 PM Monday morning, there is no word yet from the printer on the delivery of Outbreak. I imagine it will come in this afternoon sometime.
