Also Crazy Lou's "Weapon World" by Kool Keith on Prince Paul's "A Prince Among Thieves" Welcome to weapon world...You're Welcome!

Infinite infantries, space techs with navi clips
Skin penetration, directions, information
Roll up your knuckles, get blast in your fingertips
Phasers with macs and handles clamped up on your hips

Infrared beams so sharp crease your pant seams
With chestic barrels, I sold them at the Christmas carols
With small scopes from miles adjust them to your house
With see through glocks, that's natural, you know it rocks

Front vinyl holsters some acid pellets from the box
Big tanks sash German Spanish thoughts I be servin'
More beggars in trucks, shippin' weight to Las Vegas
Bicentennial bombs with leather straps for your arms
Garments and bags from hefty, I'm a lefty

Welcome to Weapon World
Welcome to Weapon World
You're welcome

Nuke 'em headbands for light blue German Lugars
Forcefields protect, razor bumps behind your neck
Automatics from seven chambers eighty-two bullets
When you pull it, the little twenty five sound like Ganas

Machine guns, electric cords rob the power run
Remington A-70 for the pedigree
Night time militant mask, fueled with laser gas
Atomic ACP thirty round American slugs
With bugs undefeatable navy systems

Brown pearls, pistols with FBI whistles
Suitcase with missiles stashed with toilet tissues
Triggers with frames or 44 that shoot flames
Law enforcement, I got the first kill endorsement

Uzis material eatin' Cocoa Puff cereal
Close range spokers, infrareds let you notice
Factory parts here screws with the custom parts
Deputy badges, fake SWAT teams closin' gasses
Blow up your asses, over here put on masses

Welcome to Weapon World
Welcome to Weapon World
Welcome to Weapon World
You're welcome

Antagonist columnist, astrotech abuser
85 rounds of dynamite sticks with mix
On old rifles and little derringers that fix
LAPD can't see me, I work with Muslim beanie

Indian transporter, machine guns across the border
And Siberian bolts bullet proof winter coats
Across the region, duffel bags of the [Unverified]
Station wagons with desert eagles to stop a dragon

Elephant darts with propane travel through the rain
Bust back the right machine to counteract
Carbine 31 shot wake up the project block
Neighborhood with wood, blast off the D off the hood

Bounty hunters with camouflage green alligators
Straight from the Barbados, tourin' sweet potatoes
Can make and pass port way hand grenades that I bought

Welcome to Weapon World
Welcome to Weapon World
Welcome to Weapon World
Welcome to Weapon World
That's right

Has the effect to put a six foot gorilla
With the skin of an alligator, aluminum
With the aluminum skin of an alligator
To a 4 point 8 Pterodactyl
That's a Dragon Plus with a twist

Kool Keith is Crazy Lou. He's the Greatestest Ever There Was.

Every time I hear this song I think of Chaos Earth... that's close to Rifts right? :P

Warrior by Rob Rock
I could see the city lights,
then they turned to black
Then I heard the sirens sounding out
I could see the rockets glare,
shooting in the night
Everyone was praying for their lives

Am I dreaming?
I don't believe it
Am I wrong or right?
Then I heard a voice say in the night

I'm a warrior - take my hand
Let me lead you to the promised land
I'm a warrior- take my hand
Side by side we'll make our final stand

Then I saw this blinding light
I heard a sonic boom
I could feel the earth shake in the doom
Then a silence filled the air, I
could not hear a sound
I could see the ashes all around

Am I dreaming?
I don't believe it
In the dead of night
I could hear the voice that showed me life

I'm a warrior - take my hand
Let me lead you to the promised land
I'm a warrior- take my hand
Side by side we'll make our final stand
I'm a warrior

I'm a warrior - take my hand
Let me lead you to the promised land
I'm a warrior- take my hand
Side by side we'll make our final stand
I'm a warrior

Not sure why, but The Ubiquitous Mister Lovegroove by Dead can Dance always represented our default theme for Rifts: Africa setting.

In retrospect, probably because the group's name is "Dead can Dance"

Rorshach wrote:Strange enough, the songs that remind me most of rifts are mainly classical music, anything by Apocalyptica, and the song Ecstacy of Gold. Apocalyptica songs just get these big CS versus FoM hellacious battleground scenes going in my head, really good cinematic stuff that usually translates into my games pretty well. they also work well for me for space battles in a phase world vibe.

Any classical music tends to be Epic sounding for good backround music. Think also of soundtracks like "Star Wars" and "Jurassic Park". Any John Williams will do.

Blow Me Away; Breaking Benjamin, Halo soundtrack.
Bleed it out, Linkin Park.
Cities in Dust, Junkie XL.
All of the Heavy Metal sountrack works, but I use Veteran of the Psychic Wars for my psychics, esp. Mind Melters.
Konya wa Hurricane (There's a Hurricane Tonight) Priss and the Replicants, BubbleGum Crisis.
Or any other song from the BGC sountrack.

Black Blade by Blue oyster Cult
I have this feeling that my luck is none to good
This sword here at my side don't act the way it should
Keeps calling me its master, but I feel like its slave
Hauling me faster and faster to an early, early grave
And it howls! It howls like hell!

I'm told it's my duty to fight against the law
That wizardry's my trade and I was born to wade through gore
I just want to be a lover, not a red-eyed screaming ghoul
I wish it'd picked another to be its killing tool

Black Blade, Black Blade
Forged a billion years ago
Black Blade, Black Blade
Killing so its power can grow

It's death from the beginning to the end of time
And I'm the cosmic champion and I hold a mystic sign
And the whole world's dying and the burden's mine
And the black sword keeps on killing 'til the end of time

Black Blade, Black Blade
Bringing chaos to the world we know
Black Blade, Black Blade
And it's using me to kill my friends
Black Blade, Black Blade
Getting stronger so the world will end
Black Blade, Black Blade
Forcing my mind to bend and bend

I am the Black Blade
Forged a million billion years ago
My cosmic soul it goes on for eternity
Carving out destiny
Bringing in the Lords of Chaos
Bringing up the Beasts of Hades
Sucking out the souls of heroes
Laying waste to knights and ladies
My master is my slave
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!
You poor ******* humans

and

Welcome to the black parade by my Chemical Romance is basically percfect for the Coalition...
When I was a young boy
My father took me into the city
To see a marching band
He said, "Son, when you grow up
Would you be the savior of the broken
The beaten and the damned??

He said, "Will you defeat them
Your demons and all the non-believers
The plans that they have made?
Because one day, I'll leave you
A phantom to lead you in the summer
To join the Black Parade"

Sometimes I get the feeling
She's watching over me
And other times I feel like I should go
And through it all, the rise and fall
The bodies in the streets
And when you're gone we want you all to know

We'll carry on, we'll carry on
And though you're dead and gone, believe me
Your memory will carry on, we'll carry on
And in my heart, I can't contain it
The anthem won't explain it

And while that sends you reeling
From decimated dreams
Your misery and hate will kill us all
So paint it black and take it back
Let's shout out loud and clear
Do you fight it to the end?

We hear the call to carry on, we'll carry on
And though you're dead and gone, believe me
Your memory will carry on, we'll carry on
And though you're broken and defeated
You're weary widow marches

On and on we carry through the fears
Disappointed faces of your peers
Take a look at me
'Cause I could not care at all

Do or die, you'll never make me
Because the world will never take my heart
Though you try, you'll never break me
We want it all, we wanna play this part

Won't explain or say I'm sorry
I'm unashamed, I'm gonna show my scar
Give a cheer for all the broken
Listen here, because it's only

I'm just a man, I'm not a hero
Just a boy who wanna sing his song
Just a man, I'm not a hero
I don't care!

We'll carry on, we'll carry on
And though you're dead and gone, believe me
Your memory will carry on, you'll carry on
And though you're broken and defeated
You're weary widow marches on

Do or die, you'll never make me
Because the world will never take my heart
Though you try, you'll never break me
We want it all, we wanna play this part
(We'll carry on)

Do or die, you'll never make me
Because the world will never take my heart
Though you try, you'll never break me
We want it all, we wanna play this part
(We'll carry on)

and Winterborn by Cruxshadows reminds me of Chaos Earth/NEMA
Dry your eyes and quietly bear this pain with pride
For heaven shall remember the silent and the brave
And promise me they will never see, the fear within our eyes
(my eyes are closed)
We will give strength to those who still remain

So bury fear, for fate draws near
And hide the signs of pain
With noble acts, the bravest souls
Endure the heart's remains
Discard regret, that in this debt
A better world is made
That children of a newer day might remember
And avoid our fate

(I've waited all day in the pouring rain, but nobody came, no, nobody came)

And in the fury of this darkest hour
We will be your light
You've asked me for my sacrifice
And I am Winter born
Without denying, a faith is come
That I have never known
I hear the angels call my name
And I am Winter born

Hold your head up high-for there is no greater love
Think of the faces of the people you defend
(you defend)
And promise me, they will never see the tears within our eyes
(my eyes are closed)
Although we are men, with mortal sins, angels never cry

So bury fear, for fate draws near
And hide the signs of pain
With noble acts, the bravest souls
Endure the heart's remains
Discard regret, that in this debt
A better world is made
That children of a newer day might remember
And avoid our fate

And in the fury of this darkest hour
We will be your light
You've asked me for my sacrifice
And I am Winter born
Without denying, a faith in God
That I have never known
I hear the angels call my name
And I am Winter born

And in the fury of this darkest hour
I will be your light
A lifetime for this destiny
For I am Winter born
And in this moment..I will not run
It is my place to stand
We few shall carry hope
Within our bloodied hands
(bloodied hands)
And in our Dying, we're more alive-than we have ever been
I've lived for these few seconds
For I am Winter born

And in the fury of this darkest hour
We will be the light
You've asked me for my sacrifice
And I am Winter born
Without denying, a faith in man
That I have never known
I hear the angels call my name
And I am Winter born

Within this moment now
I am for you, though better men have failed
I will give my life for love
For I am Winter born
And in my dying
I'm more alive, than I have ever been
I will make this sacrifice
For I am Winter born

and this one is perfect for the Republicans:
Defender by Cruxshadows
I will defend her...

My vigil's light is mine to keep
Watching eyes fall over her
Moments lost, fragments unseen
But I will still be here

They say
This cause is lost
And she will not return to me
They say
That she is gone
And this is just a shell, unliving...

And through the dark of the morning
She fades, but I will not leave here
Fight back the demons around us
Love lives and I will defend her
And through the dark of the morning
She fades, but I will not leave here
Fight back the demons around us
Love lives and I will defend her
I will defend her...

By dancing light, alone in the darkness
My eyes play tricks with the shadows
Prayers for miracles seem to pass unheard
But I am with her still

They say
This cause is lost
And she will not return to me
They say
That she is gone
And this is just a shell, unliving...

And through the dark of the morning
She fades, but I will not leave here
Fight back the demons around us
Love lives and I will defend her
And through the dark of the morning
She fades, but I will not leave here
Fight back the demons around us
Love lives and I will defend her
I will defend her...
I will...

There is no fact that cannot be challenged
No course of fate we cannot repair
The means to an end is in the beginning
Strength to endure
Comes out of despair

Where there is love there is life
And where there is life there is hope
And in hope we find the sight to see
The essence of divinity

They say
This cause is lost
And she will not return to me
They say
That she is gone
And this is just a shell, unliving...
And through the dark of the morning
She fades, but I will not leave here
Fight back the demons around us
Love lives and I will defend her
I will...
And through each moment believing
I will defend her...
She knows that I will not leave her
I will...
One life compares to another
I will defend her...
Love lives and I will defend her
I will...
And through the dark of the morning
I will defend her...
She fades, but I will not leave here
I will...
Fight back the demons around us
I will defend her...
Love lives and I will defend her
I will defend her...
I will...
And through each moment believing
I will defend her...
She knows that I will not leave her
I will...
One life compares to another
I will defend her...
Love lives and I will defend her
Love lives and I will defend her

My wife and I are going to see Del Tha Funkee Homosapien tonight. So in honor of that here is...

3030 from Deltron 3030

Yo its three thousand thirty
I want y'all to meet Deltron Zero, hero, not no small feat
It's all heat in this day and age
I rage your grave, anything it takes to save the day
Neuromancer, perfect blend of technology and magic
Use my rappin so you all could see the hazards
Plus entertainment where many are brainless
We cultivated the lost art of study and I brought a buddy
Automator harder slayer fascinating combinations
Cyber warlords are activating abominations
Arm a nation with hatred we ain't with that
We high-tech archeologists searching for nicknacks
Composing musical stimpacks that impacts the song
Crack the motor what you think you rappin for?
I used to be a mech soldier but I didn't respect orders
I had to step forward, tell them this ain't for us
Living in a post-apocalyptic world morbid and horrid
The secrets of the past they hoarded
Now we just boarded on a futuristic spacecraft
No mistakes black it's our music we must take back

Yo it's three thousand thirty
I want y'all to meet Deltron Zero, and Automator
Yo it's three thousand thirty
I want y'all to meet Deltron Zero, and Automator
Yo it's three thousand thirty
I want y'all to meet Deltron Zero, and Automator

Del I'm feeling like a ghost in a shell
I wrote this in jail playing host to a cell
For the pure verbal, they said my sentence was equivalent to murder
Kust another hurdle, I bounced through a portal
I knew they had the mindstate of mere mortals
My ears morphed to receptors to catch ya
Every word about gravity control
and the families they hold for handsome ransoms
On the run with a handgun, blast bioforms; I am warned
that a planet-wise manhunt with cannons
will make me, abandon, my foolish plan of uprisin
**** dyin, I hijack a mech
Controllin with my magical chance so battle advance
through centuries of hip-hop legacy, megaspeed
Hyperwarp to Automator's crib and light the torch
They can't fight the force
Victory is ours once we strike the source
Enterprisin wise men look to the horizon
Thinkin more capitalism is the wisdom
and imprison, all citizens empowered with rhythm
We keep the funk alive by talking with idioms

Yo it's three thousand thirty
I want y'all to meet Deltron Zero, and Automator
Yo it's three thousand thirty
I want y'all to meet Deltron Zero, and Automator
Yo it's three thousand thirty
I want y'all to meet Deltron Zero, and Automator

Isn't eternal evil concerned with thievery
Medieval prehistoric rhetoric well we ahead of that
Lay it down with soundwaves that pound pavement
Original minstrals my central processing unit
is in tune with my heart for this art
Not artificial cause that makes it hard to miss you
Copycats finish last in the human race
Staying glued to safes too prude to take a buddha break
We got espers that let us bless with fresh ****
Undetected by yes men questing for five fleeting nanoseconds of fame
Protecting the brain from conspiracies against my cosmos
While I float to Neo-Tokyo with Opio
or discuss combusitible rust clusters with Plus
Evade cyber police in a computer crib confuse the kids
but I can make a kickin rhymes thats sacred
Telepathic mind that takes its greatness from the Matrix
Esper rhyme professor rushes in ultra pressures
with correction measures
Why half the world's a desert
Cannibals eat human brains for dessert
Buried under deap dirt, mobility innert
I insert these codes for the cataclysm
Ever since I had the vision use my magnetism
In this modern metropolis they tries to lock us up
Under preposterous laws thats not for us

Yo it's three thousand thirty
I want y'all to meet Deltron Zero, and Automator
Yo it's three thousand thirty
I want y'all to meet Deltron Zero, and Automator
Yo it's three thousand thirty
I want y'all to meet Deltron Zero, and Automator

Aren't there more hip-hop heads out there?

Fallout is interesting because it was the future that everyone in the 50s thought the future was going to be. That's why you have high tech stuff but it's retro. Mom cooks dinner with the help of a robot, rocket powered cars, that sort of thing all keeping in theme with the cold war threat.

In Rifts, I don't think we'd see stuff exactly like it (Like, no companies like Vault-Tec because it was a golden age so no fear of mutual destruction) but the idea of some isolated generational bunkers of people who's great great grandparents survived the dark ages by staying under ground and coming out to see the "brave new world" only to be gunned down by power armored marauders isn't that far fetched.

I'd say the Fallout setting probably most closely resembles what earth probably looked like sometime about 100 years after the coming of the Rifts and 100 years prior to the Coalition rising to power. Except more emphasis on the supernatural.

Just like you could reasonably speculate 100 years after the current fallout setting you could expect to see more national and economic borders forming as the decedents of the various powers start branching out, as they have done in Rifts as order reasserts itself. And trust me, demons and monsters not-withstanding, Rifts earth is far more orderly than the despot power centers that exist in Fallout.

Meet Cleofis Randolph the Patriarch

What's happening?
I keep my dreadlocks in a napkin ring
Rap and sing
Unlike the homogenous clones
I'm into earth tones, birth stones, and erogenous zones
The more ticklish the more you have
Sitting on the curb of what used to be the burbs
And before that was Canarcie
I'm a disturbed and bitter herb
Like saltwater and parsley
Mics crawl up, tights fall down
That's my mnemonic voice stalactite slash stalagmite
You may have this Maglite
It survived the apocalypse
And for the fragile force of an agile horse
Here's a handful of very special chocolate chip

I know it's a bit cliche, but I'm surprised nothing by Metallica has made the list. For me "Of Wolf And Man" brings images of some sort of lone character (Juicer or Burster in my brain, for some reason) hunting down some sort of bounty.

Similarly "Through The Never" provokes a vision of some sort of fast-paced aerial combat, maybe involving Sky Kings or other relatively small maneuverable craft. If this combat were part of a film there'd be fast-paced cuts, missiles flying everywhere, explosions galore, hard banks, and possibly a mad-grinning Crazy at the helm.

For personal reasons pretty much the entire Queen greatest hits type album "Classic Queen" reminds me of Rifts. We played that album in the background almost every time we got together for role-playing (Rifts or otherwise) in college.

Almost every Swollen Members song reminds me of roleplaying and the entire Megaverse. They roleplay so their music is infused with lyrics about magic and tech and every angle of fantasy gaming. So here is "Left Field" by Swollen Members featuring Del.

Not sure if you read my previous posts on this thread, I got to meet Del and brought up Rifts at a free show in between posts on this thread after I had made your opening statement.

I didn't read any of this thread before i posted. 1) I think its awesome that Taylor White and I said the same thing. hahaha. 2) You met Del and brought up Rifts? Did he say anything in particular about it?

Right. You said it. He agreed with you. I said what you said (and by his agreement of what YOU said what Taylor said) without reading the thread, and I thought it was funny that Taylor and I said the same album reminded us of Rifts: I by stating it outright, and Taylor by agreeing with someone else who had mentioned it. My point stands.

Where is the love for hip-hop roleplayers? Swollen Members have songs perfect to fit any system.
Where is the respect for Dream Warriors they deserve for the classic "12 Sided Dice" which is as old as Rifts is. Classic Canadian Hip-hop. Peace.

"12 Sided Dice"

You've got shadow fear
Your brain is tickin', thinkin'
If it's us again
Of course it is
The same firm, same name, same claim

Be humble, my brothers, for this one's different
It's the roll of the 12-sided dice

''Roll of the 12-sided dice
Roll of the 12-sided dice
Roll of the 12-sided dice
Roll of the 12-sided dice''

I've got a profitable brain, supernatural eyes
Multiplied by
The galactic vigilante strapped twice
What's your answer, Dungeon Master?

''Unimaginable awful blast on the face of this earth''

Then you've got that right
I'm the tow truck
Of the soul land
I can get around you, I get you hyper
So forever, and ever
This will be spreaded across the livergaway
I am the way
I will take the weak out, put my thoughts right in
And then

''Roll of the 12-sided dice
Roll of the 12-sided dice
Roll of the 12-sided dice
Roll of the 12-sided dice''

Do not attempt to avoid my thoughts
Climb out of the frying pan, you roast in the fire
Cleric, my character, I hope you recall
I am religious to what I believe in
Righteousness takes us away from the wrong
So have no
''Right''
And have no
''Wrong''

If we didn't have dark, we wouldn't need light
This style is different as you can tell
It's in the flow, it's in the flow
''It's in the flow''
Here I go

Too unaccented explaining this man
My life could be long, my life could be short
While I'm living I'm playing it smart
A fighter I am, and a fighter I will be
Keeping my hit points high, not low
I think before I move
''Right''
I think before I move
''Left''
Then roll the twelve-sided dice

''Roll of the 12-sided dice
Roll of the 12-sided dice
Roll of the 12-sided dice
Roll of the 12-sided dice''

This is the real King, encyclopedic, mind weave offer
I'm telling you tales about my quest
Empty factory studios
The weak and great shall not succeed
Makes your mind all go to pieces you would never leave
Wasteful to wait, most full thoughts
''Time''
Allows you to go, but you don't think fast

''You don't think fast
You don't think fast
You don't think fast
You don't think fast''

Look
Here I go again on my own
Going down the only road I ever known
I'm a hitchhiker
The guide to the galaxy
You're feeble, brittle, and sitting on the critical
I know I'm cease times table
I'm using a character, in this case a king
The same thing that I would wanna say
You see the crowd as an elastic, I'm pulling to the fold
When an immortal takes hold
The crowd is cold
''Stun''
This immortal is second to none
For here
This is my atmosphere
And if your DJ is itchin' to match my scratchin'
He will itch all over in a thousand places
He pulls maces and knocks out faces
You need practice in order to extract us
Roll of the twelve-sided dice

''Roll of the 12-sided dice
Roll of the 12-sided dice
Roll of the 12-sided dice
Roll of the 12-sided dice''

Had fast ideas about reality
All in one speech to teach that
Wisdom and power do not agree
So put fun and joke aside and come with me
I will guide you to everlasting light
There's no turning back if you're coming this way
You will learn how to live, and learn more why
We roll the twelve-sided dice

Dice

World Destruction

Speak about destruction...
This is a world destruction, your life ain't nothing.
The human race is becoming a disgrace.
Countries are fighting with chemical warfare.
Not giving a damn about the people that live.
Nostradamus predicts the coming of the Antichrist.
Hey, look out, the third world nations are on the rise.
The Democratic-Communist Relationship,
won't stand in the way of the Islamic force.
The CIA is looking for other defectors.
The KGB is smarter than you think.
Brainwash mentalities to control the system.
Using TV and movies - religions of course.
Yes, the world is headed for destruction.
Is it a nuclear war?
What are you asking for?
This is a world destruction. Your life ain't nothing.
The human race is becoming a disgrace.
The rich get richer.
The poor are getting poorer.
Fascist, chauvinistic government fools.
People, Moslems, Christians and Hindus.
Are in a time zone just searching for the truth.
Who are you to think you're a superior race?
Hasten forth your everlasting doom.
We are Time Zone. We've come to drop a bomb on you.
World destruction, kaboom, kaboom, kaboom!
I'm going out of my mind - that makes two of us - I'm going out of my mind
This is the world destruction, your life ain't nothing.
The human race is becoming a disgrace.
Nationalities are fighting with each other.
Why is this? Because the system tells you.
Putting people in faceless categories.
Knowledge isn't what it used to be.
Military tactics to control a nation.
Who wants to be a president or king? Me!
Mother Nature is gonna work against you.
Nothing in your power that you can do.
Yes, the world is headed for destruction.
You and I know it, the Bible tells you.
If we don't start to look for a better life,
the world will be destroyed in a time zone!

Lyrics have been edited where I think the online sources got it wrong. I hate when lyrics websites screw up the lyrics of a song...*grumble*.

I like that particular album because of its space cowboy aesthetic. I find the rest of Del's catalog to be somewhat lackluster.
In a similar vein is a band called Chappo. Their sound is hard to describe. I guess I would call it "progressive rock in space". They opened for my band a couple of weeks ago, and I think we're going to play with them again soon. Which would be cool, as they have a really neat sound. Anyway this makes me think of chillin in my hovercar while my robot drives me to the Chi-Town Burbs to look for trouble.

I did find...

"The Wreckoning"

by Latyrx (actually just by Lateef the Truth Speaker not Lyrics Born)

[Lateef]
Look *****
You know I'm comin' tight
So you can switch them hips from left to right
All night and won't nobody give a ****
If you were sittin'
I might ask you to stand so you can take a load
Off your mind
Cause the lyrics you kicked were so butt-brained
It must be synonymous
With your behind in the time and you know your rhymin'
Sucked black
So I can't still figure out why the ****
He was all on my nut sac
He was droolin' water and who are you foolin'
Tryin' to act so cool
And when it comes to the duelin'
Pull up a stool and we can begin the schoolin'
Ooohin and Ahhhin
Really don't matter as long as the rapper
They know who's **** is phatter
And who should be beggin' the pardon
For the disaster as I blast you into
Anti-matter make you scream out uncle
As I punk you with the funk
Watch you crumble like a punk will
Another chump killed
As I chuckle pumpin' steel through the steel
So that I can steal the show
The bug had know appeal
Meaning that I don't feel the whack
EVEN when you be feeling that
No matter how slow you go
You still got no-THING to say
When skills are softer than clay matter
C'mon man, that ain't where the cash is
You musta thought that pretty ass **** was gon' make
Some dough on the strength of those promo pictures
Hoe
Blow me down
I gets down
That even if we go just one more round
And I'm from the ‘O'
Challenging you in your own goddam town
And I know the homies gon' clown
When they hear the profound thoughts and
Experiences applied from my strife to the
End of your life on this mic
The years run off by the hour
The aspirations FLEE with the YEARS
As they get devoured with time
Eventually you will age and collapse
What good are your raps if your
Synapses can't fire
The rapid rhymin' and tactics
That I can flash with
Automatically blastin' back and
Cappin' and laughin' at all of this whack
Material that you brought
Devoid of substance lacking
Action between word and thought and
Perhaps it's best for e'rybody
If we just cut short

Silence
You itch you lust
Your breath is taken
When you awaken
In the state of the shock
Thoughts of ex-communication
And the implications of that situation
Racin' through your floggin' stopped up
Noggin' as you're massagin'
You're jarred
What's that you saw
You try rememberin' but it's foggier than
Fisherman's wharf
At six in the mornin'
Through the gloom of dawn
Your doom is doomin' like the
Moon you know when you'll be due
And you'll die and soon

And when you die
Your heart stops
The brain is TECHNICALLY ALIVE
For three or four minutes
Digesting the curse for the next 24 hours
Give or take a smidgen
Blood remains viable for several hours and
Settles down once the body's downside is
Darker and you will mottle
The grip of rigor mortise clenches it's fist
And two to six hours
Relinquishes
Two to three days later by this time
The stomach is bloated with gaseous
Fumes consumin' will blow **** up fo' sho'
Oh by the way
The flesh decomposes fast
Veins and skin turn
Blue, purple, green and black
Nose and softer tissue turns to a
Jelly consistency thicker than Jell-O
Cornea of the eyes are no longer clear
Sickly jaundiced yellow
When you see and it softens
Eyes they melt in their sockets
Watch the skin pull away
From the gum-line leavin' no lips
So what's left and
A wicked grin
Bacteria thrive nightcrawlers fill
No morrow only hunger
Maggots arrived and now's devourin'
Decayed and sourin'
But hey
Really though
Why even trip
It ain't
Only the physical in which
Your consciousness exists
And in the end
Forensic details are about as important
As the gear your sportin'
So why even resist
Ya trick
You should desist and listen
To the mix your missin'
With the kicks that's hittin'
In the midst of the mist
Into which your slippin'
The lights start to dim
And the lesson of infection
You're witnessin' is the wreckoning

Winded old and you'll POP
You cease to exist
Terror in your eyes
And a smile on your lips
When you hear the remix
You cease to exist
Terror in your eyes
And a smile on your lips
When your heart lights up
You cease to exist
Terror in your eyes
And a smile on your lips
When you hear the lyrics
You cease to exist
Terror in your eyes
And a smile on your lips

ok...maybe this one is a bit more Dead Reign than Rifts

None. However, just about any heavy metal or hard rock song can probably be applied.

Alternatively:

Metalmosh Meatheads (TM):

The songs they perform include: Shemarrian Woman, Born to be Cyber, Eye of the Rhino-Buffalo, The Beautiful D-Bees, Tolkeen Bop, G'snurgle'torf Betty, and so forth.

Dr. Octagonecologyst A.K.A. Kool Keith
any song off Dr. Octagon...I mean he's been to the year 3000 and he's from Jupiter. Earth people, New York & California.

Here's...Mr. Gerbik (Keith)
Half-Shark Alligator Half-Man

I would have been completely dead had it not been for the Shark Man.
Shark Man? *chuckling*
Judging from his appearance that's the most appropriate
name I could come up with for him.
I hate this kid.
This uhh... THING you're talking about.
It had the body of a shark and the arms and face of a man?
That's the chap.
Holy jumping jackfish!
Intro Two: Mr. Gerbik
*moaning, growling*
Yes, you have met the dangerous 208 year-old Uncle of Dr. Octagon.
I myself Mr. Gerbik. Half-shark, half-man, skin like alligator.
Carrying a dead walrus. Check it.
Verse One: Mr. Gerbik
With my white eyes, gray hair, face is sky-blue yellow
Sideburns react, my skin is colored lilac
My skin turn orange and green in the limousine
People think I'm mixed with shark, drinking gasoline
Underwater I breathe and let loose on my sleeve
Walking down Hollywood Boulevard with a credit card
Three alligators behind me, feel my skin is hard
Transvestites, and people watch space parasites
I left his head in the store, legs in the street
Body in Wilcox, with blood dripping off my feet
L.A.P.D. through gray clouds couldn't see me
I first turned rainbow, closed my eyes, watch my brain glow
People got scared and ranned away they think I'm weird
I was born this way, halfsharkalligator
Is he weird??
Chorus: Mr. Gerbik *singing*
half-shark-alligator-half-man
"Half man, half shark!
half-shark-alligator-half-man
"Half man, half shark!"
Verse Two: Mr. Gerbik
My vomit fluctuates, covers your skull like protoplasm
Lightning bugs turn pink, on my tongue catches spasms
Green elephants, I battle streets with a zebra
My mechanism is more than Dionne's psychic voodoo
African beads, snakeskins, cold script through you my medical passes
You can't see, with greedy glasses
Carbon dioxide, pour right through em with gases
My description dinosaur
I was made half-shark-half-man, my skin is like razor blades
Seven-oh-seven, Mr. Gerbik
Verbally no one change my thoughts, animals fly from Philly
My appetites more big it's time for wildabeasts
Adjust my skulls, seven eyes switch hydraulic scribbles
and shrimps, mack gorillas like a pimp
Half-shark-alligator-man
Chorus 2X
Verse Three: Mr. Gerbik
In my real world, orangutangs dance for Thanksgiving
With skeleton bones and skunk tails, is my mission
Holding backward raps to all my power packs
Babboons clap, and girl horses wanna hit the sack
We're too bold for ocean water, monkeys sniffin ice
Contact Jupiter pools Martians bring my rice
I'm out flyin with purple capes in the twilight
Oooh ooh ooh, tonight's the night
My oxygen region's, New York to California
Half shark alligator half man!
Outro: PBS "Nature"
It takes a supreme feat of strength to swim through
the water plows while dragging two hundred and
fifty pounds on your back... the crocodile's teeth
are designed to seize and hold, not to cut through
skin. During all the hours the somber lay in the water,
but are unable to penetrate the deer's tough hide.
The crocodiles make a few token objections; but in the
end, give up the struggle
