How is it not possible to determine if the if the Altrucure was the cause of the Zombies? You have a bunch of survivors, every time you meet someone you ask them if they had the cure. It would be pretty easy to determine if everyone says no.
There seems to be nothing stopping you from playing a char who has taken the miracle cure. What does this mean? It means you don't get sick or diseases. Drinking bad water would appear to not be a problem. This would be a big improvement in your odds of survival.

In my campaign a few people have taken it and they're fine. Outbreak was caused by another entity.
