State of Lake Superior

What is the current state of L. S., Western Lake Superior specifically. What is the water level (how has it changed)? Obviously there is no civilization in Duluth (is there?), but what about Superior and Northern Wisconsin. How close do marauding packs of Psi-Stalkers come to Duluth? How far up the North Shore of L. S. does the bug zone go? Do the Minnesota and Wisconsin Points still exist (peninsulas that jut out for miles from their respective states at the farthest Western edge of L. S.)?
What is a really good bug (Xiticix) repellent? Is there a bug (Xiticix) zapper that would keep them out of a cave/a home/an area or make them not want to enter such a location?
I'll have more ?s but these are good starters.

In case others have the same ??? here are the answers I received.

OK, here you are:

1) The water level in Lake Superior was higher after the Great Cataclysm, but has returned to pre-Cataclysm levels. Left behind, about 5-10 miles inland, are a few small bodies of water in low-lying areas, but not very deep. Erosion has taken away about a mile of shoreline.

2) There are no humans or D-Bees in Duluth.

3) There are a few forts in northern Wisconsin. See the map on page 35 of Xiticix Invasion.

4) The Xiticix Zone on the northern edge of Lake Superior ends just outside of Nipigon in Canada.

5) Wild Psi-Stalkers operate at the edges of Duluth. They know how dangerous it would be to go further in.

6) There are no bug repellants. It's easier and cheaper to just shoot the bugs up as opposed to carrying an extra device to repel them. However, burning wood or leaves can be used to keep them at bay as long as they cannot see through it, and to confuse their sense of smell. It is critical that the wind is in your favor. If the wind is not blowing, then all the smoke just goes up.

7) The Minnesota and Wisconson points are still there but have shrunk by 10%.
