The Rifts/Colt® Heavy Metal® Crossover
appears in the September and November issues of HM – on sale in July and September

I want to apologize for any confusion I might have caused by my Rifts®/Colt the Outlander® crossover announcement in Palladium's May 21 Press Release. In it I said the comic will appear in the “July issue” of Heavy Metal® Magazine.

It should have said: The Rifts®/Colt the Outlander® crossover comic strip appears in the September issue of Heavy Metal® Magazine “on sale” in July, and the November issue “on sale” in September. I hope that clarifies the matter.

Sorry, I forgot, magazines and comic books are always dated a couple months in advance. This has led to some confusion as the issue of Heavy Metal® that says "July" on the cover is on the news stand right now, and there is no crossover Rifts® comic in it. That's because the strip starts in the September issue on sale in July!

UPDATE: Rifts®/Colt the Outlander® comic. I have seen and approved the story, layout/story boards and the artwork for a number of the finished pages. Approved page 5 just this morning. This is a painted comic strip and it is looking great. I hope everyone takes a peek when the issue comes out in July.
