Rifter 18: Q&A Article gives a good example of how to create Mutant Animal templates for animals that are not listed in the Second Edition After the Bomb book, answers the question as to why there are no rules for gaining new skills in the AtB setting, the missing Hunting skill bonuses, and suggestions on how to "upgrade" First Edition After the Bomb characters and animal templates to be more compatable with Second Edition.

Rifter 29: Article submitted by Caleb Goodson with several new mutant animal species. This includes arachnids, slugs, aquatics, chimera, and many more. Included with the Chimera are notes regarding an underground arena circuit that ran before the Crash, and possible still does in the Free Cattle territories.

Rifter 41: The City of Philly by Erin (OmegaGirl) Lindsey. This 24 page article brings the city of Philly to life with descriptions of the city, it's wards, history, and the Rodent Cartel and it's Families. Also included are NPC's, new mutant animals, apprenticeships, and beasts. Including the fearsome Jersey Devil!!!

Rifter 43: Swimsuit Issue w/ Doc Feral's Lycanthopic Sex Kittens. Yes, Doc Feral has now been officially linked with AtB!

Issues #18 and #29 are available at DriveThruRPG. Issues #18, #41 and #43 are available through Palladium's online store.

Actually it was Rifters #23 & #24.

Yes, I forgot those issues contained the two-part Mesozolic Land by Todd S. Yoho. It's a dinosaur island setting.

Sigh... Here are a few other issues I missed:

Rifters #15 & #16 contained sneak peaks at 2nd Edition After the Bomb

Rifter #46 contained "New Mutant Types and Rules for Creating Genetic Chimeras" for AtB and Heroes Unlimited.

After carefully re-reading the article, maybe not.

The Sex Kittens/Wildcats were for After the Bomb, Heroes Unlimited, Ninjas and Super Spies, and old TMNT & OS. Also, nothing in the text suggests any direct connection to the AtB setting. So while this information can be used for AtB, it's not an "official" connection.

The issue also contains four other AtB Fem-Fatals: Sumaiya (Mutant Tiger), B.E. Vollbier (Mutant Human), Shelly Shocks (Mutant Turtle), Candy Roux (Mutant Candiru (NEW ANIMAL)).

duck-foot wrote:what the hell is a candiru?

According to Wiki: Candiru are a parasitic freshwater catfish native to the Amazon, known for an alleged tendency to invade and parasitize the human urethra. :ewww:

According to the Rifter article: "The Candiru, also known as Canero or Vampire Catfish, is a small parasitic fish that feeds on the blood of other fish."

Yes, they can purchase a Blood Drinking ability and a Diet: Hemavore disadvantage.

Rifters pdfs are included in the Christmas in July sale on drivethrurpg. I'm glad to see someone made a list so I can see what I'm missing. Not sure if I'm going to pick anything up yet. I'm still bothered by the lack of an errata.
