As a mind mage he has taken the power Super Bio Regeneration, and that all fine and dandy, however the group is currently fighting the Abomination in the fantasy setting. My question is does SBR cure radiation poisoning even though radiation is energy and not a sickness/disease?
Yep.

Greetings and Salutations. Personally, I'd say the radiation poison can still count as poison. That's in the minor power write-up, and I'm going to be a firm believer that the super can do everything the minor power can do. Though if you're convinced energy doesn't count, let me ask a different question. If a character is shot with an energy pistol, does that mean they can't bio-regenerate because it was energy? I'd personally say the end result is the same, but that's me. Thank you for your time and patience, please have a nice day. Farewell and safe journeys to all.

Greetings and Salutations. Hmm ... interesting question. I'll start my answer by saying this is not official. My personal answer would be that it would not cure/heal cancer (or any "chronic disease" as listed in the Attack Disease psionic). With that said (note I'm not an expert on cancer), I'd say Bio-Regeneration can probably keep the cells in check so they don't start "reproducing on overtime." At the very least, it would probably provide an added bonus to resist/save. Of course, let me also note, this only applies IF the Bio-Regeneration psychic power is activated. It is not automatic. The character needs to meditate for a minute, and then it restores the damage. Using the psychic power will pretty much prevent the character from doing much else. That's at least from what I can tell. Mind you, that's my personal take on things. Canon is only what's written in the power itself. Thank you for your time and patience, please have a nice day. Farewell and safe journeys for now.
