New books are coming. Starting next month!
I need to head out for my Wednesday visit to my father in a few minutes, but I want to post a short Murmur.
I get the feeling that folks are kinda down about the Rifts® trademark situation. I get that. I was too. It took me several weeks to pull out of my funk. That’s one reason why you haven’t seen any new product since Triax 2 and Palladium’s schedule of new releases is so off. Well that changes as of this week.
Fear not, the fight is not out of me by a long shot. We are going to make this Palladium’s turnaround year!
In fact, I’ve had the office in an uproar as we have kicked things into high gear to get new books to the printer and in your hands.
Wayne Smith is busy doing final editting on The Rifter® #51. It should go to the printer in a week or two.
I’m back to work on Heroes of the Megaverse® and I’m shooting to get it to the printer in two weeks. Seriously.
Armageddon Unlimited™ for HU2 and ties into the Minion War™ is next on my plate. I expect the cover sketch this evening.
I’m putting both Rifts® Lemuria and Rifts® Thundercloud Galaxy™ into production. I’ve already read and divided both manuscripts up into smaller files for editing. John Zeleznik is doing the cover for Thundercloud, haven’t decided on Rifts® Lemuria yet. Both books rock with great ideas.
As soon as I hear back from a number of my artists, I’ll be assigning artwork. That should be in the next day or two.
I’ve talked to E.M. Gist about the next Dead Reign™ cover, and I’ll be talking with Palladium freelancers all week about the their next assignment. We are fired up.
Meanwhile, there are all kinds of things boiling behind the scenes that are full of promise.
2010 is going to be Palladium Books’ turnaround year. You have no idea how much growing excitement and opportunities have been surfacing in recent months.
