Writing fool despite a sad day

Writing fool despite a sad day

I had a productive afternoon and evening of writing on Heroes of the Megaverse®. The book is really coming together now. In fact, the trick will be squeezing everything I want to include into 96 pages without having to cut a bunch of dynamic material.

Not sure why writing flowed so well suddenly, but I hope it continues throughout the weekend.

Today was actually a rather rough day.

An acquaintance gave me the bad news that her mother (my age) was told her cancer treatments are not working. Chemo has been suspended and she has been given 1-3 months to live. Very sad. I’ll be going to her benefit event to help with medical costs tomorrow evening.

Then we got the shocking news that the father of Palladium’s young intern and freelance writer, Matthew Clements, had a stroke and was being airlifted to the University of Michigan’s medical center. There has been no news on his condition. Our thoughts are with Matthew and his family as we pray this story has a happy turn of events.

Sincerely,
