Question, (as I don't have all of the psionic powers listed) is there a psionic power that will allow you to speed your body up like the super ability of Sonic Speed (or maybe a little slower than that...)?

Yes.


1. Be a Major or Master Psionic, and go get a Mega-Juicer conversion. You'll be dead soon, but you'll be fast.

2. Stick a foreign object where the sun don't shine, and then use TK Acceleration on it. Be careful, though.

Well, there are no psionic powers that speed you up, but if you want to do what I did, just convert magic spells into new psionic powers. Take for example the psionic power you want, super speed. Just convert the magic spell superhuman speed, keep the same bonus' and speed increase, just change the cost from p.p.e. to i.s.p., and you got yourself a psionic power that does what you want, without anyone being able to say you are being a munchkin, which is what usually happens when someone starts to make their own spells/psionic powers. There are also a lot of other spells that work well with this type of conversion.

I did this a lot with my house rule overhaul, too.

The real trick was to leave some things alone. I still wanted Magic and Psionics to have their own "flavors".

Actually I was considering using a Super Power and modifying it a bit.

There is a spell in Rifter #25 called "Enhance Reflexes". That's about the closest they get.

I have always thought that there should be some sort of psychic Man at Arms OCC that gained similar abilities as the Juicer or Crazy OCC, but through intense study and psychic focus (i.e., psionic powers instead of drugs or cybernetic implants) They wouldn't necessarily be as good as a Juicer or a Crazy (like maybe half the bonuses roughly for numeric bonuses), but certainly better than the average Joe Schmoe, you know? What do you guys think?

So, you are saying that there should be PCC like the Burster, but instead of Flame based Powers, it should be one that boosts that Psychic's body?

I think that there may be one: The Natural Genius PCC from Nighbane WB; 2 Between the Shadows. PCC has X number of Points to build with and an array of choices-such as Natual Warrior (good bonuses), and increases to the various Attributes(but these COST!!!). Taken together this make a Psi-Enhanced Warrior with a normal lifespan.

The only downside: I think that the Natural Genius DOESN'T get any normal Psionics. I could be wrong as I do not have the books with me.

Actually that is kinda what I'm thinking too. But the powers may have to be created from scratch as I am attempting to do. Might have to be a Major, Master or even Super Psionic power (or group of powers/abilities)!

There is a psionics netbook compiled by Gadrin a few years back called Psionic Unlimited with a lot of additional psionic powers in it.

One of them is a more versatile and considerably more powerful version of the Supercharge ability listed in one of the Nightbane books. The new version of Supercharge can be used to increase a psychic's speed.

Rifter #25 again is a good reference for this. Page 70 of that issue has what's called an "Intuitive Warrior" that specializes in hand-to-hand combat "intuitively". They also list a host of new physical psionic powers that give some minor enhancements (beyound the reflexes mentioned previously) as well as some sensitive powers that add to combat bonuses.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking of!!! Thank you for turning my attention to it.
