This will be short and sweet as I have a book to finish.
I saw Dad today (Tuesday). Poor guy is really nervous and worried about the surgery to remove his bladder and prostate at the end of the month. We keep trying to assure him that life afterward will be relatively good and normal, but he doesn’t seem to believe it. He was very down when I first arrived this morning. The worst I’ve seen him in a long time. He was much cheerier by the time I left and I even had him laughing over jokes about pee that are too inappropriate to repeat here. Hey, at least I can get him to laugh. I hope my reassurances that he’ll be okay sink in, calm him down, and get him thinking more positive. He’s always been a worry wart. Wish I could do more.
Voted in our State primary election for governor.
Online Sales for the week so far remain soft, but have rebounded significantly from last week. Whew.
The last Summer Auction went very well. Many bidders walked away with unique, fun and collectible items. Nice.
Writing: I’ve been writing up a storm and at a good pace I'm happy with (finally!!) on Heroes of the Megaverse®. Which is one reason I’m keeping this short. I want to get back to it. I got in early this morning to write for 2+ hours before my visit with my father, and hope to get in another 3-4 hours before calling it a night.
Rifts® SAMAS T-shirt is at the printer and we think it is pretty awesome. I can hardly wait to get mine to wear. Get those pre-orders in as it helps us to determine quantity and sizes. Besides, the shirt will be ready to ship sometime between August 12 and 17.
Cover sketch for Dead Reign Sourcebook 3 came in and . . . wow.
Other stuff is going on, but I want to stay focused on finishing Heroes of the Megaverse®, so that’s it for now.
