Another thought.

I hope my last Murmur wasn’t too strange or personal.

I know Palladium’s detractors and enemies like to take my words, thoughts and even good intentions and sometimes twist or trash them.

I’ve been told by well meaning friends and business associates I sometimes wear my heart on my sleeve and say too much. Reveal too much – about my feelings, my thoughts and the business. They’ve suggested I shut up. To say less. Better yet, don’t say anything substantive.

I remember a friend who was raised under the “DTA” rule – "Don’t Trust Anyone." Experience has shown me that is not bad advice. Keep your mouth shut, your feelings to yourself and don’t trust anyone can protect you from being hurt by others.

There’s only one problem with that. It’s not me. It’s not who you’ve come to expect either. Maybe that will ultimately be the downfall of Palladium Books. I don’t know. What I do know is I can’t live or run my business that way. Maybe that makes me a weirdo. But you’re my friends and extended family. I want to share my "real" thoughts, hopes, fears and dreams. I just hope I’m a positive force rather than a negative one.

Be true to yourselves, to those who count on you, and to your dreams, and you’ll never have regret.
