Yeah, they can get crazy powerful if they are old enough and unlike other undead such as vampires they can go for centuries between feedings if they gorge themselves on enough victims.

thats nasty... an undead super-villian causing disasters to feed off victims. hiding the fact by acting like a hero, pretending to stop them. instead helping the distaster happen. it may even stop a few of the small disasters from happening to keep his cover. besides it would be a great way to get help cutting off competition. sorry random babble moment
