This topic is mainly for people who have lived, worked, or otherwise spent considerable time overseas. I am starting an international heroes game (globe hopping crime stoppers and all that) and I'd like to give my setting a boost.
I want to hear about interesting places you have seen, locations that might be good, bits of culture that the basic tourist would have no clue about, or other interesting setting/city ideas you might be willing to share. I'm looking for local flavor to make places unique and stand out.

Seal Flippers have huge amounts of Vitiam C, Inuit Girls are often given a cup full of Seal blood still warm from the kill.
