What OCC do you want in the Main Cast?

What RCC do you want to see in it?

Cast members absolutely have to include:

A Glitterboy; this is one of the top things that stand out the most in Rifts world. I wouldn't put more than 1 in the movie unless it had scenes in Canada for whatever reason, perhaps focusing on CS vs FQ *shrug*

A CSRPA Elite, particularly in a SAMAS; The most prominent icon of the entire CS IMHO, second only to the Death's Head symbol. In the movie there would be lots of these, but only 1 or 2 in the main cast

A Line Walker; Ley Lines are gonna be a big part of the effects in this movie. We gotta have a few of these running around/along them

A Shifter; Come on... you KNOW you want to see someone open a Rift in this movie

A Dog Boy; Whether alone or in a pack, we gotta see them. When their scene comes in, start playing "Who let the Dogs Out?"

A Juicer; Or better yet, a few Juicers. Ever since the Matrix came out, every Rifts player I know uses the scene of the agent dodging full clips from Neo's guns as an example of how fast a Juicer can be. I still do to this day. Just one request. Have 1 Juicer go through Last Call, preferably a really young looking one, like maybe in his early 20's, just to drive home how short lived they really can be. Have an older one comment on how he'd only been juiced for a couple years and rant a moment about how the days just seem to get shorter every day. Then have him turn and blow some guy away just to "feel the rush" and get back in a good mood.

A Cyber-Knight; Just to add a bit of nobility to the whole thing. That and to see a Psi-Sword in action

A Dragon; Just a quick reminder that with this world you're really playing with power. Nuff said.

That's all i can think of off the top of my head. As to who the good guys and bad guys are in this list, I can only say, yes... they are.

CS side - Samas/RPA Elite for sure adn dog boys

Independants - Juicer, Any kind of traditional spellcaster (line walker or shifter for instance), GLitterboy (it is a Rifts ICON afterall), Mind Melter or Burster and a dragon.

For me a Cyber-knight.

Still thinking about a Rcc.

Cyber-Knight screams "StarWars" too much, I'd have one in a secondary role if at all in the movie.

Super Psionic (Any type)
Magic User (Probably Lay Line Walker)
Dragon
Glitter Boy
Ex-CS of some type for main. Sort of a reforming Roshak (Watchmen) type character.

I would like to see a cyber knight, but they do scream Star Wars too much. A dragon speaks to the fantasy aspect of the game.

Just a couple quick additions to the list, but have them be walk-ons rather than main cast;

A Splugorth Slaver, complete with barge and Blind Warrior Women. The true icon of Rifts from the original cover!

A Shemarrian! That would be just too hot!

An Atlantean, preferably either a T-Man, a Sunaj, or both, but pretty much any would work.

A Techno-Wizard. Nothing really blends the science and magic of the Rifts world like these guys.

And finally, let's see a cameo appearance from Archie!

A Burster, a Glitter Boy Pilot, a CS SAMAS RPA, a Dog Pack led by a Psi-Stalker (perhaps having a scene where you see him "feeding"), Juicer, 'Borg, CS Grunt or Military Specialist, a Techno-Wizard, a Shifter, and Operator.

Juicer, glitter boy, cyberknight and some sort of mage.

I think the film should be based on machinations of doom. So those OCCS

Machinations was pretty sweet.

Shifter -- complete with demons as the villian.

I want to see a samson pilot and a cyberknight definitely and i would love to see how they would do a juicer... Also a techwizard would rock

yeah i retract my cyber knight statement due to possible lucas interference but want a bad ass pa pilot still

perhaps the tolkeen artifact hunter or a well intentioned shifter that gets in deep with a demon.

why has no-one mentioned a single D-Bee other than a dragon? (Okay a Splurgoth Slaver got an honerable mention)
Anyway, aren't the D-Bees the entire point of Rifts Earth? You might think the Glitterboy is the icon or whatever but without the D-Bees, Rifts Earth is just Earth.

Um, probably because the topic is Which OCC do you want in a main cast? Not Race or RCC even (even though RCC's are almost the same as OCC's). I think we should start a new topic for Race/RCC's.

Only stuff from the main book.
Preferably scholars and adventurers.

Nice choices, though I think Bruce Willis is a little old for the part of Hagan now.

Karl Urban already has played a role like that in The Chronicles of Riddick.

RCC: Wolfen! My favorite race in th epalladium universe.

OCC: As THE main character, I think either a cyberknight or a headhunter would probably work best. But having a crazy for comic relief, juicer for cool factor, and lots of mages and psychics for the special effects.
