Question about immunity to physical harm

Hi peeps,

I just have a question about creatures that are immune to physical harm (like zombies from the create zombie spell). It says that they are immune to physical harm but take damage from magical energy attacks (like fire bolt etc). Would they take damage from a magical melee weapon?

Thanks

Away from my books but, I would allow magic weapons to harm the zombie. That just seems right to me.

That's what I was tending towards, but wanted to see what other people thought as well. Thanks.

I'd have to ask why a Zombie is hurt by a Spinning Blade (spell) but not a dagger thrown by a dude, but I digress;

As far as cannon goes, I think that the Zombie is hurt by a Magical Weapon like magical spells.

The spell desciption actually says that they're only hurt by magical energy attacks such as energy bolt, fire bolt, circle of flame and call lightning. So going on that I would say that perhaps spinning blade doesn't actually hurt the zombie.
