UPDATE: Website. The new Palladium website probably goes live Monday. I’m afraid there remain problems, mainly with the store. We have to iron them out before we can go live. We are testing and tweaking it all weekend.
This is all technical coding and programming work, so I’m focused on writing books this weekend.
I’m having a productive Saturday. I slept in a bit and got up around 8:00 AM, did a load of laundry, ate breakfast, watched a little TV, and headed for the office. Alex was already there and working on stuff. We chatted a bit, I fed the birds, and checked my email.
UPDATE: Rifts® Lemuria. Art has been assigned for Lemuria. I spent the last four hours working on Rifts® Lemuria, making some changes and rewrites as I went through it for art assignment. I’ve assigned a pile of art to Chuck Walton. I need to assign Lemuria art to Amy Ashbaugh and Nick Bradshaw next.
Talked to the writer about doing some rewrites too, and Chuck to do some concept art.
Lemuria is a sweet book, with a lot of wild, new ideas, monsters, magic, and characters.
UPDATE: Other art projects. I spent a couple hours talking to Bradshaw about art, art techniques, creating mood and telling a story, yesterday. It was fun. Had a similar chat with Mumah the night before. We all want to up our game and create the best art, writing and books possible.
UPDATE: Rifts® Vampire Kingdoms™ is awesome. I plan to spend the next six hours writing away on Vampire Kingdoms™. Most of tomorrow as well. This is another book that I think will please Rifts® fans and delight gamers looking to adventure in the Vampire Kingdoms. I am very happy with this book so far.
UPDATE: John Zeleznik’s Dark Secret. I guess we didn’t break John Zeleznik’s curse, because the Sharks beat the Red Wings by one goal in game seven. The good news is we should be getting that gorgeous Rifts® Lemuria cover.
UPDATE: Online Sales. The only bad news this weekend is, so far online sales are in the toilet. At least we got some distributor restock orders Friday.
We have to get new books to printer, so I better get back to work on Rifts® Vampire Kingdoms™. Enjoy your weekend and game on.
