I just got Rifter 40 and it's pretty exciting and I like the setting produced there... but I don't like some of the things I've read along the lines of what's in dead reign it's self... I'm being a little over cautious in buying product lately. Heck I still haven't bought Splicers which has been on my maybe list for a while. Is it really worth getting this book? Or could I just make up a few scavaging tables and use the material presented in 40?

its great that they gave a supernatural option to the game setting, i havent got BtS yet to compliment DR but its on the list

im running the standard game and a Sup Nat vsn side by side - kind of like the game 'Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions'

I STRONGLY suggest buying Splicers

i started with Rifts in the mid 90s but when Splicers came out...Rifts has been on the shelf ever since

it has its lumps & bumps like all games but get past them and the game is awesome.

Splicers, then DR are the PB rpgs that have my attention right now

having your own living Power Armor that you can customize as you go up the ranks or your own War Mount (a living Tank) or be a Skinjob etc etc

I was thinking of 45 when i replied (great material)

i dont have 40 - does that have sup nat material ??
