The Rifter® #57 is fantastic!

Most issues of The Rifter® are very good to excellent, but some are just outstanding. For me, The Rifter #57® is one of those outstanding issues.

Fans of the Palladium Fantasy RPG® are going to eat this issue up, because it is jam-packed with dangerous monsters designed specifically for the Palladium Fantasy® setting. But here’s the cool thing, these creatures also come with Rifts® Conversions, making these 20 monsters suitable for use in Palladium Fantasy® and any S.D.C. setting as well as for Rifts® and any M.D.C. settings

This issue also has some rocking Coalition vehicles and weapons, cool Beyond the Supernatural monsters and a bunch of other great material. Like I said, this is an awesome issue.

Gamers looking for additional source material for Splicers®, Beyond the Supernatural, Heroes Unlimited, Nightbane®, Palladium Fantasy® and other settings, need to look at, or better yet, subscribe to The Rifter®, because this is where material for them appears on a regular basis.

Though written by fans for fans, I wonder if people realize that these “fans” are often burgeoning writers who do really good work. Heck, at least half of Palladium’s writers and many artists got their start as contributors to The Rifter®. We never publish junk, so you can count on The Rifter® to always contain good, fun stuff.

Perhaps even more important and useful, The Rifter® gives the reader ideas. Ideas for everything from monsters and gear to alternative rules and adventures. Heck, you can build a story/adventure around half of these monsters, but there are often adventure ideas and even full adventures in the pages of The Rifter®. Dropping in stuff from The Rifter® can help keep your campaigns fresh and your players guessing. The Rifter® is a fun tool. Use it.
