I was wondering how many other MA's there are in Australia?

So how long does it take for approval as an MA?

A week usually. We are all volunteers, and dont get anything for our efforts except growing Palladium. Please be patient.

I have your info Fate, i have you in the system got to send it to the powers that be to get your title changed on here.

Thanks for the replys, guys. Sorry if it sounded like I was a bit impatient. Been registed on the forum for years, but these are my first posts. I guess no one is sure if there are any other MAs in Australia. Would be nice to get in touch with some more local people. I don't get to game very often anymore.

On a personal note, one of my players is in Tasmania- he goes by Kiralon here on the forums.

One MA for an entire continent, no pressure. lol
Seriously though, with how long this program has been going I thought that there would have been at least one other by now. Guess I'll have to step up my game, so to speak.

I apologize for the delay. The MA Coordinator in charge this quarter has been dealing with medical issues. We do have you listed on our spreadsheet as an MA.

Hi all. Just finished running my events at Conquest over the Easter weekend. It went well and it was interesting to see how different people interpret the same character. Two things, one, where do I put up my game report? And two, I'he been registered as an ambassador for a few months now and hasn't received a link to get my free copies if the GM kits.

Don't worry, I found the answers to my questions. I didn't even know the Ambassados Lounge board existed till this morning. My bad.

ok... I don't want to seem like I am being pushy or anything, but I sent in my info on the 15th of April, got confirmation it was recieved on the 16th, and have heard nothing back since, and it is now the 29th... I was just wondering what was going on, whether or not I was accepted, or if I am still being considered...

Well, looks like the Aussie MA is going to the open house next year! Woo Hoo!!!

So at the beginning of the Reboot of the MA program we said, "What does this reboot mean? It means that you now will have support for running demos and convention games!" We want to tell you that exactly that has been occurring! Kevin assigned Jeff Burke to take care of the MA program, and he does! Real swag has been provided! So, please, if you have not signed up for the MA program, please do so! Sign up to run games at Conventions, and let your con participants get rewarded! This program is becoming real- come join us!

I will echo what Zenvis said- real swag is provided. Get those Con games going, and let us know!!

If you go into your user profile and click on "Usergroups", you should be able to see a list of people in the same group as you.

I sent an email a couple of weeks ago about becoming an ambassador and I've gotten no response.

Hello all, Sadly just after becoming an ambassador i had a series of personal issue, health and deaths in the family, job loss etc get in the way of everything. Now i am starting to get back to where i need to be i am once again going to try to get this back on track as well, so using the email in the above post i will be updating my information asap, but i am thinking of holding off till i find out if i am moving in January or February. it will be just down the street but i don't want to update address twice.
I hope your all well and now that I'm back i hope to participate more.

Could I be a Megaversal Ambassador for one specific game? The only Palladium game I play is Recon, which is nothing like the rest of the Palladium system.

Absolutely. I play Robotech RPG Tactics. I only recently gotten into Rifts. At Cons I would only run Tactics Games, because that is what I am comfortable with. Each MA has their specialty.

Is there a MA for King County WA yet? Home base of the Evil Wizards and Pirates?
Are there any benefits to becoming an MA instead of just running games as a regular GM?
Has anyone talked to KS about trying to make it like GW's old Outrider program?
Why so you want to..." instead of "this is why you should..."?

PB can send out various support, ranging from Chi-town Library pencils to sprues of Robotech RPG Tactics minis. Rifters, sourcebooks, minis, etc.

Depending on how many games you are playing, what you are playing, where, and when, all have a factor of what they can throw your way.

I run Robotech RPG Tactics and have got a number of sprues of Minis and a few rulebooks to give away. I am really starting to get into Rifts and may be running a demo soon as well. Just fill out the swag form (Stickied topic in the Ambassador forum) and email it to ambassadors email (same topic) and they will send what they can.

This is all done by PB, coordinated by the MA coordinators.
