~ Transformations into another creature ?? Which would YOU..

Unread post by TechnoGothic »

Transformations into another creature ?? Which would YOU wish to be transformed into ??

There are many ways this can Happen in the game.

Spell of Legends to change you into another creature. PF has a Metamorph Dragon SoL even. Necromancy has spells to turn you into Vampires or a super-mummy. Warlocks can become Golems or robots by transferring the essence. Rituals can turn people into Quasi-Undead (cold-blooded), Alien TW rituals can turn people in Living Cyborgs. Then you have Bio-Wizardry itself, and Genetics (genesplicers lvl at least) to change you.

Ley Line Storms can do nearly ANYTHING the GM wishes. Your Soul might be switched with that of a Dragon or any creature the gm wishes in these events.

A GOD could change your species on a whim to teach you a lessen or as a curse.

However done ... What non-human Species would you like to changed into IF you manage it ??
On Purpose or Accident ??

Right now, I would go DRAGON.

A dragon seems appealing. The ability to shape change? Dimensional Teleport? Huge life span?

Count me in.

I don't care about canon answers. I'm interested in good, well-reasoned answers and, perhaps, a short discussion of how that answer is supported or contradicted by canon.

If I don't provide a book and page number, then don't assume that I'm describing canon. I'll tell you if I'm describing canon.

That would be some rather scary porn considering Rahu Men are giants...
I'd like to turn into a Cold Blooded - they are pretty much immortal being able to regenerate from such nasty things like decapitation and such and they don't have to give up their free will/humanity like other immortals do.

they're basically undead. i'm not sure how you can call that not giving up your humanity.

Greetings!

Given absolutely free choice-NO restrictions at all...Nightbane! Then I'll take the time to learn Magic to be a Nightbane Sorcerer! Mad level of Regeneration, weird Powers, and Spellcasting.
, what more do I really need? After all, Nightbane have a Human Fasade, a Human form to go back to. So when I want to go check out the ladies, they'll be happy to see me-instead of running away in mortal terror (that's for my enemies).

Well sure they are basically undead but being undead doesn't really mean anything to them. They are the walking, talking, living life as usual type of undead with no downsides.
I'm not even sure I'd remember the nature of my powers after a few hundred years...

Just wanted to point out one thing about the Thunder Lizard Dragon Hatchling from D&G.
Magic = 2 Attacks per melee round per Level of experience !!!
A 5th lvl TL can cast 10 spells in a melee round !!
A 15th lvl can cast 30 spells in a melee round !!!

I can only speak for myself in this matter but I don't know magic, so it would be 0 spells per melee  .
If I somehow learned magic by some kind of genetic memory from my Draconic heritage, then I most certainly wouldn't want to turn into a dragon - that genetic memory would change who I am as a person.

The Cosmic Forge is an ENTITY for sure, but since we actually don't know what it actually looks like, for all we know, it could actually have the form of something like a puppy dog or a kitten. Or even Jeffy here. --> :crane:

It's obvious, the Cosmic Forge is a network of independent medichlorians

Lizard damages are no walk over. We have enough magic knowledge to make some gods of magic to be jealous and a fair amount of mdc.

My somewhat more modest choices would probably be either a dragon, a lizard mage, or if I'm feeling fuzzy, a Wolfen Quatoria. :)
