Rifts® Lemuria goes to Printer

I’m happy to report that Rifts® Lemuria goes to the printer today! The first 144 of the 224 pages are laid out and being proofread. The last 80 pages are being finished even as you read this.

Everyone who sees the book goes crazy over it. My friend Jeff was impressed yesterday, and Julius was wowed by it as he was proofreading it. The general consensus is that the book is GREAT. Packed with page after page of useful and exciting material for land and underwater adventures and for going from one environment to the other.

Great doesn’t come fast or easy. I wish it did. There are days that I wish I could bring myself to let adequate or good enough writing to slide. Delaying Rifts® Lemuria to make it EVERYTHING it should be added five weeks to its production and more artwork. That meant a suspended revenue stream and slow sales without a new release. Painfully slow sales this past weekend and yesterday.

Maybe I’m stupid or care too much. I’m certainly not a perfectionist, but when I see the potential for greatness like I saw in the foundation of Greg’s work and in the awe-inspiring artwork by all my artists, but especially Chuck Walton, I had to make Rifts® Lemuria bigger and epic. To make it EVERYTHING it should and could be. Matthew, Wayne and Alex all agreed. You’ll see for yourself in 2-3 weeks.

And I want to stress again that Rifts® Lemuria does create a whole new realm to explore and adventure in, as well as includes all kinds of magic, weapons, armor, gear, animals, War Steeds, characters, villains, etc., that you can add to your campaigns in ANY Rifts® environment, including land based campaigns.

I think you'll go wild over this book. Game on.
