Bicycling bonuses?

It seems to me that the Bicycling skill should give some sort of stat bonuses and be a physical skill. What do you think? If you agree, what bonuses would you give it?

For that matter, what about swimming?

There are plenty of people who know how to swim that it doesn't affect them physically. But I think you're right in that there should be some system for getting bonuses to stats for swimming, perhaps by making a separate skill that gives the bonuses and requires the first skill to be taken first. Basically the first swimming skill (the one that is in the book) is the knowledge and application of swimming while the second one (the one that I am suggesting) is the dedication to swimming as a form of exercise.
Does this make any sense?
PS: The same could hold true for bicycling.

The basic bicycling skill merely represents the ability to ride a bike; it doesn't necessarily mean that the character rides for physical fitness. On the other hand, I think there really SHOULD be physical skills for athletic cyclists, e.g. Bicycling: Long-Distance (think Tour de France) and Bicycling: BMX/Stunt Riding.
For a distance cycling skill, I would think +1 or +2 to P.S. and P.E. would be appropriate, plus a fatigue benefit similar to the running skill. For stunt cycling, I'd go with bonuses to P.S., P.P., and S.D.C., plus percentiles for doing various tricks (wheelies, flips, jumps, etc.), similar to the acrobatics and gymnastics skills.

In some of the older books (BTS1, N&S, TMNT, etc.) there was an Advanced Swimming skill which included both SCUBA diving and competitive swimming, and did in fact provide various physical attribute bonuses.
